Peripheral neuropathy : numbness, tingling, discomfort. What should I do?
My peripheral neuropathy has suddenly increased. I’m trying to not be scared but I am. I’m 46. Since my early 20’s my feet have gone numb on exercise machines. Now I’m waking up with tingling dead feeling limbs. It’s difficult to stand still like at museums for example bc I feel like I will fall

Feeling helpless without a firm diagnosis
Hi All, I'm posting in the hope that someone can tell me that a) I'm not going mad/losing the plot and b) hopefully I can relate to others who have similar experiences and obtain any advice that may help me. Apologies in advance for the essay... I think in hindsight I've had symptoms for a couple of

Prostate-Specific Antigen: Predicting for Biochemical Failure During Salvage Radiation Therapy After Prostatectomy
For anyone thinking about Salvage Radiation Treatment (SRT) this article makes the point that you should have your PSA measured before, during (25th session) and after treatment...my Doctor did not believe this was necessary; I see now that it was. Luckily I had my own tests done at ultra low levels

How do I choose between Cyberknife (SBRT) monotherapy vs HDR Brachytherapy+EBRT?
M59, Gleason 4+3 (second opinion confirmed by Jonathan Epstein at John Hopkins), PSA7.8 average past 1 year, T2C stage. Haven't been operated or radiated before. Currently am being offered: 1) 5 fraction Cyberknife (SBRT) therapy that is concentrated to the prostate. 2) 1 time high dose rate Bracytherapy

Zytiga - Abiraterone - To take or not to take right now
Greetings; I have been avidly reading a lot of the posts on prostate cancer. They have provided invaluable information on the way I have made decisions with my treatment. My wife is a profesional nurse so I do have a heads up on research and the blessing of working as a team to prolong our lives together

Finally T3 has arrived!
After taking T3/T4 combined therapy for five years my prescription for T3 was taken away by the CCG in 2019, which I am fighting still. I was getting it from Turkey but the source dried up and I haven’t taken any since September 2020. Symptoms are now really bad, as I told them they would be, and I’ve

Urine vs blood for B vitamins - anyone understand why one could be high and one low?
I have had several blood tests for Vitamin B12 which has increased over the past 12-14 months via supplementation (igennus super B mainly). My latest medichecks result was: 31March active B12 204 pmol/L (25.1-165) I then had a Dutch test which involves both saliva and urine tests. As part of the urine

Iron and b12 supplements
Hi all, Quick question, but if I supplement with a vitamin b complex, will this deplete iron reserves? I ask as my ferritin levels were at the low end of normal, so don't want them to deplete any further. Thanks!

What is your take on Soybean? 🧐🤔
Edamame has always been my favorite snack since I was little. I usually steam and sprinkle a little bit of sea salt. You may find edamame prepared the same way as appetizer when you go to a sushi restaurant. I found many health benefits from edamame but one thing I’m concerned is phytoestrogen or isoflavones

Do anyone have any advice or success stories of HEALING A THYROID NATURALLY?
I'm 42 and I was diagnosed with Sjogren's, Hashimoto's and Graves 4.5 years. My T4 was only slightly elevated and after a friend recommended I saw a homeopath (who gave me some awful brown solution) my TSH came back to life and back in to normal range after 7 months. Despite my thyroid bloods remaining
