Unsupportive significant other
It's been heartwarming to read about all the wives and significant others out there who have been there on this journey supporting their partners and I was hesitant to post about this but thought it might help others who have had similar experiences and reluctant to discuss and open up and share. Hair loss with Sjogren ?
Any hairloss hair remedy ? I started losing my hair 4 years prior to official diagnosis. To this day i am still not sure it’s due to Sjogren. On Plaquenil for 3 months. Still losing so much hair, i willl have to cut it short. I am upset. This hair loss is relentless. I have done everything for 4 years

Actinium/Keytruda/Xtandi trial update after 24 weeks.
At the 24 week mark of my trial at Weill Cornell, I had updated NM whole body bone scan and CTs of chest/abdomen/pelvis. Also had updated blood work. Was expecting my next 6 week infusion of Keytruda the next day. While waiting in the treatment area, there was some kind of a delay. Nurse came over

Perioperative beta blockers and PC recurrence
Don't know if this has been discussed--this just crossed my desk. Non-selective beta-blockers at time of radical prostatectomy was associated with a lower risk of recurrence. Frankly, sounds far-fetched to me: https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2788446

What can members tell me about the success of electroporation and NanoKnife? The National Health Service in Britain is now using it.
It doesn't appear to have the debilitating side effects of radical prostatectomy surgery or radiation

Survival after Radical Prostatectomy versus Radiation Therapy in High-Risk and Very High-Risk Prostate Cancer
This just appeared in today's email. Apparently a database study of patients treated 2010-2016. At 5 years out, RP less cancer-specific mortality than RT.....the most significant advantage for very high-risk men. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34555930/ Not a randomized study, but will we ever have

Radium 223
Hi there Just wondering does radium 223 act the same as chemo when it comes to xtandi versus abiterone? My hubby has done 6 months of radium 223 while on xtandi and will now have scans in feb. Will he be able to try abiterone now or will he be faced with chemo? I know it might not work for long anyhow

Does B6 on its own affect thyroid blood results?
Hello, I booked a blood test this week but just realised I've been taking B6 each day for past few weeks and I know you're supposed to be off all B vitamins before the test. Does anyone know how it interferes with the blood results and what it affects? I'm guessing I need to cancel and re-book.

Help with latest bloods?
Following a blood test where I was advised I had high TPO antibodies I saw a private endo, blood showed hashimotos however he said blood indicating I was likely to go overactive although symptoms suggest underactive. He requested further bloods and have the results today Serum Cortisol - Normal 701nmol

Folic acid fortification in wheat flour - is it here yet?
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone happens to know if the fortification of wheat flour with folic acid has actually been manufactured into the flour yet as per the regulation change in September I think it was. I've been checking labels on my foods waiting for it to show up but it's not yet. Perhaps
