Strange asthma
I have been on the same inhalers fir the last 18 years namely Foradil and
Qvar
and the last 5 years Antrim entry. My peak flow never goes higher than 150 but I can walk my dog who is anti-allergic about 2 miles every day. The weather affects me. If it is damp sometimes I can hardly walk.

Hospital Review
The
QVAR
is helping with the inflammation, most of the lung nodules are lymph nodes, just one slightly concerning one so I will have another scan in October, the collapsed part of my right lung has reinflated but I am to be assessed for ambulatory oxygen.

Fostair advice
I've been changed to fostair from
qvar
I've got to take 2 puffs am and 2 puffs pm plus I can take up to 4 extra puffs when i have symptoms, I assume thats the symptoms I get when normally I'd take sabutamol. In the next breath it says dont use in place of your reliever.

Price gouging? Qvar
Qvar
is a corticosteroid that helps control asthma. It has been a great medicine for me. In the last 4 years I have personally experienced a rate hike from $40.00 for 1
Qvar
inhaler to $200.00! I need this medicine, but it is cost prohibitive. I have private insurance and am not on Obamacare.

and of course I have the rescue inhaler.. But all of this came without instruction.. Lol so I'm trying to figure out, when to use the rescue inhaler? I'm not sure if I'm using it too much or too little? Should I have a spacer for the

Only severe asthma they say!!
And so he said I'm going to put you on a new inhaler I felt excited I was currently on Spiriva Serevent Ventolin
Qvar
He said he would take me off spiriva and the serevent and give me one joint inhaler that's exactly the same as those two anyway just combined in one! Flutiform!

Hospital visit
He has put me back on a steroid inhaler,
QVAR
, which has improved my breathing already, and is going to book me in for a bronchoscopy as he is a bit concerned about a mass in my lung which he thinks is harbouring an infection and he wants to sort it out.

Qvar And Fluticasone Inhalers
I'm thinking of asking to try either one of the
Qvar
Inhalers or a Fluticasone Inhaler (versions that don't include a LABA component).

Not sure anymore
Since then I have had ventolin,
qvar
,symbicort and fostair. I also use montelukast. They only thing that has helped me is prednisolone - 40mg a day for 8 days and I am good for four or five weeks. The inhalers do very little. A blood test shows raised ige of 527 but no triggers.

Maybe it's not asthma?
Since then I have had ventolin,
qvar
, symbicort and last week fostair. The fostair seems to be the best up until now - however exertion still leaves me struggling. Only prednisolone has returned me to normal service.

Hi all,I'm new and really could do with some advice and support 🙂
I have had a diagnosis of post viral asthma,I am 38 years old and seem to be hypersensitive to the inhalers that I have used (
qvar
,seretide) I am waiting for tests to see why I had problems with them, however in the meantime my wheezing and coughing had gotten worse, I have been put on fluticasone low

I just want to be normal again - anxiety, asthma, acid reflux, or something else?
I'm almost out of
QVAR
. I just want to be normal again. How can I treat anxiety when I don't have the money to go to a doctor for medicine?? If you don't think it's anxiety, what else could it be?Â

Intro & 2-Year Journey
I was on
QVAR
for 3-month due to side effect of singulair (nightmare & emotional swing). Now I am well-controlled and recently off the maintenance med (only keep my Flonase) for 3-week observation. I keep updating with my doctor if there is question or change of condition.

Advice Needed - Test result. IgE 1142, precipitin positive, other severe illnesses, no treatment?
Main medications are

Want to know more about symbicort. Is it working for you? Recently just change from Qvar to symbicort.
I'm kind of fearful in taking this inhaler of all the bad reviews I've read. Would be great if anyone can post on their experience and opinion with this inhaler. Specially long term. ....thanks

Sirdupla
This gave me terrible leg cramps in the night, it was then changed to
qvar
which gave me muscle pain, and a continuous cough . I asked for my old inhaler back to which the Gp said yes and when I went to pick it up, I had been given Sirdupla. Does anyone have any experience with this new inhaler ?
