hi all I recently been on prednisolone and im now on top of my asthma my doctor has now changed my inhaler from qvar preventer to fostair which I will be able to take twice a day plus extra puffs anytime I need it, but I've not started it yet. I was just wondering if anyone else uses Fostair and if it is any better then the qvar? Thanks in advance.

I was on Qvar many years ago and it didn't control my asthma at all after trying various inhalers I'm now on Fostair and find it very good.

I have recently been charged from qvar to Budesonide/Formoterol Fumarate Dihydrate and have been doing well on it, dispite the issues I've been having because of the time of year. I've not been on the fostair so can't say if that is any better sorry. Is it a powder type only my asthma nurse seems to think that they are stopping the airsole types?

I was taking qvar and oxis12 for 12 years. and just before Christmas I ended up in hospital with the flu and a bad chest infection. I was changed to fostair and although it took a few days to get used to it I have found it works well. Apparently it's the layest puffer that is out and is much better. Up to now touch wood I'm good!
