red light therapy
I am a 75 year old male who was diagnosed with PD in November 2022. I am treating the condition with medication and have recently completed a course in BIG therapy. I have also purchased two red light therapy devices. I would be interested in hearing from others who have used red light therapy to treat

Mitochondria, sugar, red lights and Doxazosin
My scientist friend, who is working on a vibrotactile coordinated reset prototype for me, drew my attention to an article in New Scientist - which is very interesting https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg25734290-100-restoring-the-brains-mitochondria-could-slow-ageing-and-end-dementia/ Quick take

Laser emitting diodes compared to LED light therapy ?
Bryan Johnson , a regenerative medicine extremist, uses Laser emitting diodes on his head instead of our standard red light therapy. This peaked my interest. https://www.vice.com/en/article/z34ay8/bryan-johnson-blueprint-aging-biotech https://lightforcemedical.com/improved-cognitive-function-after-transcranial-light-emitting-diode-treatments-in-chronic-traumatic-brain-injury-two-case-reports

I feel my PBC is getting worse and no one is listening
hi everyone, I haven’t posted in a while as things haven’t been too bad regarding my PBC and I was getting on with life, but these last 6 months have been awful. In the summer my LFTs spiked ALP was 236, itching through the roof, fatigue terrible, mood swings, feeling really low. The spike was caused

I'm not using light therapy, but somebody mentioned it to me again and I found this in depth page that pulls a LOT of light therapy information together in one place: https://www.apdaparkinson.org/article/light-therapy-for-parkinsons-disease/

Has anybody tried Light Therapy?
I live in an area that has at most 20 days of light. After using a light therapy lamp that delivers up to 10,000 lux for a week the severe RLS symptoms are now very mild. I have also found that I no longer need to take medication at night. Hopefully the light therapy continues to work for me. I am

Joint pain remedies - Infra red light?
Nothing seems to help with the anastrozole side effect of pain in joints, ligaments, muscles. I have been reading recently about infra-red light therapy (LED phototherapy - has a bunch of names), used on skin but also on athletes for injuries of all sorts. Has anyone tried this? If so, did you get

hi everyone I hope you’re doing well. I was wondering has anybody ever heard of the so-called red light therapy. someone had passed on this article to me and I have never heard about it is this just another scam to try to take advantage of us? Any experience with Phototherapy / UVB / UVA1 ?
Hi all - my main problem is swollen puffy sore fingers that won't flex - I've experienced this since January when all my fingers (except 1 thumb) swelled up and stayed that way for several months. Through the summer things improved a lot, I get outdoors quite a bit and with a bit of management (compression

Does this sound like Fibromyalgia?
Hello all, sorry for the long post but I am doing some health detective work! I have not been diagnosed with anything yet but have been having loads of tests for a weird combination of symptoms that don't add up. Recently the muscle issues have caused me to think this might be something like Fibromyalgia

More on red light therapy versus SYMBYX?
Apologies if i've missed a post: I noticed a post about a year ago on red light therapy, I have used it for a few years now and although I can't be sure of its efficacy, friends say they see no or little decline in my symptoms. I recently noticed an Aussie company (my home territory) promoting SYMBYX
