Asthma and exercise question
Hi all, so I just have a few questions about exercise and asthma if anyone can help. I am on inhalers for my asthma and I'm pretty overweight so I want to loose about 4 stone to get me back down to healthier weight. How would it be to best proceed with cardio training with asthma? I am pretty unfit

Two Questions. Interferon and JAK %
Had by 3 monthly consultation yesterday, bloods all ok, but my cough is still there.. The consultants are unaware of any possible link to interferon and have referred me back to my GP, the GP has ordered a chest X ray, clear, changed my BP pills, so he has very little else to go on... The consultants

Aerochamber cleaning question
Hi everyone, say I open a new aerochamber adult mask and I wash it for the first time before I use it, is every 7 days after that okay for a wash in just like warm water and fairy liquid and left to air dry or do I need to scrub gently inside tube to remove the medication that is left in the chamber

Copd review
So I turned up at the surgery for my review today, and was told by a different receptionist it was meant to be over the phone. (FGS) anyway saw the copd nurse asked all the questions I wanted to ask. I asked how do they know it's emphysema and not anything else, she said the spirometry determines this

Hi I've had a chronic cough for as long as I can remember but in April this year I started getting blood in my phlegm when I got up in the morning. I have never been a big drinker of water but after looking at some information on the internet, I realised I could be suffering from dehydration so started

Damaged inhaler?
Hi, this is a random question but I was just curious. This evening while out doing shopping as I was paying at a self service I took my inhaler out of my pocket to reach my card. My inhaler was on the part which scans the codes Can the radar cause any issues with the inhaler? I was curious as when you

Peak flow increased by inhalers
I've had asthma all my life and more recently got referred to a specialist due to my asthma being not controlled. The doctor has been amazing and I feel my asthma has been taken seriously. I used to take seretide 2 puffs twice a day, and ventolin when needed. My peak flow used to be at my very best 360

Best Inhaler for Chronic Bronchitis
Hi all, Heading to the doctor this week, tried Brimica a few weeks back and we didn’t hit it off. The anxiety and tremors were off the chart. I’m considering asking for the Fostair small molecule inhaler as I have a slight asthma component. It also contains Beclomethasone which agrees with me. Pulmicort

Preventer inhaler having no effect
Hi, I've been taking the preventer Soprobec (beclometasone) for almost two weeks now and it's making zero difference to the amount of times I use the blue Salbutamol reliever, which I take around eight times per day. I've been on the blue for around 30 years and was encouraged to move to the preventer
