Hi everyone, say I open a new aerochamber adult mask and I wash it for the first time before I use it, is every 7 days after that okay for a wash in just like warm water and fairy liquid and left to air dry or do I need to scrub gently inside tube to remove the medication that is left in the chamber when I’m washing it once a week. Plus what does static built up mean and is a bit of cloudy or residue from inhaler okay to be left in chamber when using it as I just opened a new aerochamber and see white stains or circles from medication that has stayed in the tube of the chamber and will that affect how the chamber works or stop the medication from reaching my lungs when I continue to use it until it time to wash it again.

I have contacted the manufacturer of my Aero chamber and they say that the residue is fine but only to rinse in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher if you have them. My personal issue is that anything remaining in the chamber may be a health risk butthey say that they have carried out clinical tests and say that the chamber is fine to use for 1 year.
Luckily my GP allows me a new Aero chamber every month.
