I don't know why they give out this figure because it is not helpful. I know many of our members have high lung ages and I have heard some from 80 to 141. Please don't let it worry you. Welcome to the forum.

Take no notice of the lung age, it is not real, how can it be that I have been told mine is that of a 180 year old? Yet I am still working full-time at almost 67 yrs and not on oxygen and exercise regularly. The lungs have a massive redundancy capacity, whilst his results may not sound good it is probably not as bad as you think.
