Pre-admission to MBU let downs
I had a bad experience in my lead up to admission to MBU, I wondered if any of you can relate? I have previously written on here about my birth experience and how that was quite traumatic and I know some of you shared that experience also. I'll try keep it short, but to summarize I was discharged from

Pshycic vs phychosis
Just curious if anyone else has experienced, researched or been able to navigate what they may have thought was
psychosis
when infact it was not
psychosis
but a mental breakthrough to a spiritual awakening? Thanks for your feedback. Or just the connection between the 2?

Psychosis with Stimulant usage?
Just a random thought but has anyone experienced
psychosis
(or their child rather) after having taken stimulants for a few years? It seems like the older my son gets (he’s 9) he’s getting more delusional and irrational.

Not sure
It’s depression this time, rather than pp, but when my depression gets bad I get
psychosis
with it. Today I have heard voices. Not commands, just telling me how crap I’m doing. I know it’s just a worsening of my own self-criticism but it’s still horrid.

Positivity for worried partners.
For all the worried and scared partners. I would like to let all the partners out there know that there is "a light at the end of the tunnel." My fiancée had PP when our little girl was 6 days old. I had never experienced anything like that in my life and yes I was scared, frightened, concerned, worried

Plus residual
psychosis
. I begged the doctor for an antidepressant but he said “you’re not depressed. All women are unstable, that’s all. Especially after they have babies”. My cat ran off, I got even worse. Another doctor, a woman.

First Time Here
“Hi my name is Angie and I have bipolar type 1 and anxiety and depression and PTSD and a drinking problem and a benzo problem and
psychosis
and epilepsy and well I need help..” “Welcome Angie” I know no one here is out to judge me but I feel like all eyes are on me. Like the world is out to get me.

I have read that it can change your mood, anger and
psychosis
. Has anyone experienced this type of situation? This is the side-effect that scares me the most. I have read posts from Hep C patients that were on it and it was a living nightmare. Please be honest. Thanks so much!

Finding It Difficult Dealing With Husband With Brain Damage At The Moment.
He suffered from
psychosis
and then his cognitive executive function was affected. At first they suspected he had temporal lobe dementia. Thankfully he has recovered really well over the past year - although he was terribly verbally abusive to me at times.

Things that make me feel better
Remembering how rude I was during my
psychosis
and laughing in a slightly dark manner. Like telling the nurses I wouldn’t eat the hospital food because it was S**t! Remembering with fondness some of the people I met on the general psych ward and laughing at their lack of giving a s**t.

Advice needed for 2nd pregnancy, undiagnosed psychosis?
would however welcome anyone’s advice on how I go about explaining the above this to the next set of health professionals that will be dealing with me in my second pregnancy as no one anywhere knows what me or my partner went through, and maybe advice on what I should be asking for if it was indeed
