olanzapine
My husband without my knowledge was skipping some days of taking his olanzapine. He had a psychotic episode. The PA filling in for a dr was taking him off some meds (depakote) and up with others. Nothing was working so I requested a dr. He was originally on 5 mgs. The dr. Put him back on depakote and

Driving/DVLA and PP
Basically to cut a long story short I had pp in 2016 - didn’t drive for the recommended 3 months after coming out of
psychosis
as mandated by DVLA. However, they then made me renew my licence year on year from 2016…anyone else had this?

Medication side effects
I also have a sibling who has paranoid schizophrenia and am anxious about the less common side effect of
psychosis
. I am wondering if anyone on here has had this side effect starting medication as an adult, and if they know they have
psychosis
disorders in their family?

Is therapy worth it?
I have a long history of suicidal ideation and attempts, severe major depression, if I don’t take my medicine I could experience symptoms of
psychosis
. That means voices and stuff for those who don’t know. What do you think? I’m sick of asking my family this question.

postpartum psychosis
so my psychiatrist has diagnosed me with postpartum
psychosis
. I was on Olanzapine. 2.5 MG for a month but did not show any improvement. Now she has put me on Aripiprazole 2MG twice a day. It’s been four days. I am taking it but still not seeing any improvement.

Talking about PPP
I had PPP in November 2023 after the birth of my beautiful daughter. I was in a psychiatric ward for 10 days and MBU for 5 weeks. I still take a mood stabiliser but off antipsychotics and have been for a few months. My closest friends and family know what happened, with my family being a great support

Tapering off Olanzapine
Hi all, Thank you so far for your support with another question I've asked regarding going on to have more children. May I please ask how you tapered off anti psychotics. I'm on Olanzapine but I'm guessing it's likely similar for any anti psychotic. Thank you x

A question to lithium users
few people mentioned that they take 20 mg. In case of lithium orotate- 20 mg is summ of lithium and anion orotate, lithium is only 5 mg in the pill. However, some manufacturers put a label like lithium 20 mg on the bottle. So, when people say they take 20 mg, is it just a lithium or together with orotate
