Thinking of having another baby…
Good morning, has any of you gone on to have another baby after an episode of PP & if so what was the outcome? Did you have a care plan in place? Was you referred to the perinatal team during you’re pregnancy? Did you manage to stay well after delivery? Or sadly did you suffer another episode & if so

Can you asked to be induced at 37 weeks after past post natal psychosis?
I moved home in November and live away from the hospital, I'm very anxious about going into labour and everything going wrong at not making it there. Could I ask to be induced at 37 weeks?

I had been diagnosed with a postnatal
psychosis
. Q*/ Why the professional structure didn’t have enough jurisdiction, or power to let me go to the mother and baby unit if that was my wishes, regardless of what the father thought was best for us?

The nurse did my initial assessment, and I think
psychosis
may be added to my ever growing list of symptoms. My question is, at what point should I notify the DVLA. I understand that any mention of
psychosis
may mean that my licence will be suspended.

Postpartum psychosis medical history, risk factors + reacurrence...
Hi I'm just interested to know, if anyone has any theories about why they got PP? I had no mental health diagnosis or family history of PP/Bipolar (known about anyway, Grandparents have all died). I was diagnosed with Dyslexia late on, (processing not spelling.) I wonder if anyone had PP with their 2nd

Hyperthroid - anyone recognise these symptoms? Also any connection with psychosis and mental instability?
My friend has suffered
psychosis
in the past and she is very skinny, gets very hungry and suffers if she has to wait for food, she's highly anxious, easily flares up, easily burns out, obsessses about things, can have outbursts, screaming at people suddenly if she's under pressure or emotional.

Am I losing my mind?
Is this
psychosis
? If so, how is it manageable?? My thyroid panel doesn’t show a hyperthyroid so I’m good there but I can’t seem to be able to control my anxiety. Everything sets it off from too much noise to very minimal stress. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Update I know it's a bit late
Currently on 600mg of pregabalin have maxed out on Tramadol and gabapentin in the past so sounds like anti depressants next although I have had history of
psychosis
don't know if personally it's the right route to go any suggestions would be grateful.

Dual diagnosis
I have depression,
psychosis
and a drug addiction. Lost my job last year because I was "unlikely to recover". GP's keep referring me to Mental Health Services who keep rejecting me. Flat out refuse to do anything to help. Depression came first, then addiction. DWP = severely disabled.

Anybody who takes an ssri along with amphetamine, do you notice a difference depending on which ssri?
It took months, but ended up causing me
psychosis
, which went away as soon as I switched to Lexapro. However, the adderall would not last as long, causing me great frustration, because with the Paxil/Prozac combo an IR dose all of a sudden became an xr. What have been your guys' experiences?

Battling anorexia, insomnia and

.... So anyway, for about 7 years I’ve been ‘allergic’ to the sun! It has always been particularly bothersome! But now though, it’s got massively worse!

One year after PP - A positive message
Dear all, Today exactly one year ago I was sectioned in the psychiatry hospital, leaving a 6 weeks old baby at home with my husband. We went through hell, me suffering the illness and my husband seeing me suffer and wondering if he would ever recover his wife. It hit me in the full corona lockdown,

Olanzapine alternative
Hi ladies, I hope you are all keeping well. I have posted a bunch of times about my struggles with Olanzapine. Unfortunately the 5mg of Olanzapine I'm taking is making me feel low because of how it flattens my emotions. I often feel like an outsider with my own family because I don't have the emotional

When puerperal psychosis vision become a scary reality........ How to become healthy again?
I have suffered from puerperal
psychosis
. and the interpretation of the "visions or hallucinations" that I had, have became my life experienced. But this is extremely fearful, because it was related to my child sexual abuse, mental health and financial issue towards myself...

Trying to get off Olanzapine
Hi, Thought I just offload some thoughts about my meds. I had PP over a year ago now following the birth of my son. I’m on 10mg olanzapine and 100mg sertraline. I’ve been fully discharged from the mental health team and my mood has gone back to normal. I just want to come off the meds but the consultant

Not sure if it’s my olanzapine or PP related?
I got diagnosed with PP 10 weeks post delivery ( I had 90 hrs delivery and had troubles breastfeeding), I got admitted into general psych ward first then moved to mother and baby unit, I was very confused and not accepting the diagnosis. The staff were very harsh and I felt as though no one sympathiesed
