Quetiapine- dosages and side effects
Hi, I had post partum
psychosis
after my first son. 10 years on I have been diagnosed bipolar. I used to take olanzapine but as you probably all know it makes you fat. Therefore I am on 300mg of quetiapine at night time. I also take sertraline (SSRI) for my terrible PMS/PMDD.

Looking to meet other mums who had psychosis?
Hi everyone, I’m hoping to meet some other mums in London who also experienced
psychosis
. I don’t know anyone who went through what I’ve been through and it would be nice to connect with others who have.

When will this end?
I gave birth to my first child, a baby girl just over 3 months ago. I have been in hospital with PP since just 5 days after her birth. First of all I was in a mother ane baby unit, but that didn't go so well as i felt immense pressure from the staff to be some kind of super mum, adhering to every nhs

Mutiny on the Thyroid! +missing T3 result and endo's judgement
Psychosis
is documented with hyperthyroid states. She says she will order some scans - I presume this means an radioiodine uptake as she wants to find the hot nodule - bloods every month and that she would like to see me in 2 months time.

Life insurance after PP
Hi - we’ve recently been trying to get personal protection insurance as we’re in the process of buying a house, but all my applications keep coming back saying they can’t provide me cover due to my medical history - other than postpartum
psychosis
I do not have any other mental or physical health history

When a fearful vision of Puerperal Psychosis become the reality
I have suffered from puerperal
psychosis
. and the interpretation of the "visions or hallucinations" that I had, have came my life experienced. But this is extremely fearful, because it was related to sexual abuse, mental health and financial issue towards myself... And losing my son for good.

Another Olanzapine post - I wish I could stop worrying :'(
Hi ladies, I posted a little while ago about a decision I had to make about Olanzapine. I had to decide if I wanted to stay on Olanzapine throughout my next pregnancy or if I wanted to come off it. I decided that I want to stay on it for a while longer (during next pregnancy) but now I am obsessively

Epidural yes or no?
With my first I had no pain relief and suffered with
psychosis
with a 3 month admission. I'm now planning my second birth and my consultant seems to think if we plan it well we can prevent
psychosis
. Im not convinced and will be of course taking medication straight after.

Crap consultant
I explained that by 3 days of pred I hear voices - self harm and am suicidal (only on pred - no
psychosis
previously) My question is - as I am clearly unsuitable for pred, is there not a way to refer me anyway? He kept saying a few mental health issues are better than dying of an asthma attack.

Very scared about future
Hi all, I have been reading very scary information about a high risk of having another
psychosis
episode for people that had PP and also that it is common that PP is the begging of bipolar disorder...I am not sure wether these sources are reliable.

What happens when she won't take medication?
My sister was recently hospitalized with postpartum
psychosis
. I had to call the police because she was threatening to harm herself and she was hospitalized against her will four days ago. The doctor says that she is not getting better because she is refusing medication.
