Starting pluvicto in another month
They stopped the chemo due to rising
PSA
so I qualify for the pluvicto now and qualify fir the PET scan in two weeks. I hope this works and get longer time being around so it will be worth it. I read where prebiotic will help but what about supplements to help with the side effects ?

Value of LDH
A young oncologist where I had my PSMA scan requested
PSA
, testosterone and LDH tests to go along with the scan. My LDH was at the low end of the "range" (but we still didn't discuss it LOL). My question is what part (if any) will/should LDH play in my treatment going forward ?

And on it goes…..
From the ‘good news’ department: Joe’s
PSA
dropped from 12+ to <6 after 2nd dose of Pluvicto. It’s a roller coaster…… Today is a new day! Let’s grab all the joy we can while we can! Thanks for being here. I very often think of this group while pacing doctor’s offices or the ER.

Wife of mCRPC. You men are rockstars. Need advice
My question - If his
PSA
continues to decline on Taxotere, does he stop after 6? Based on my bio, do you have any suggestions about what’s next? Does anyone go into a temp remission, or shall we expect
PSA
to rise shortly after infusion stops?

PSA after surgery
My first
PSA
test after the surgery was 0.33 and I had another one done three weeks ago, and it was 0.22. The
PSA
number is coming down, but should the number be somewhere around 0. I have an appointment to see a radiation oncologist next Monday.

PSMA - how is this?
PSA
: Two
PSA
tests in the last week (8/23) were 6 and 7 (7 when done 2 months ago) so I think 6-7 is my
PSA
although it changes by at least 0.5 every test (??). MRI (5/23) Second MRI done (following MRI 6 months ago (PIRADS3).

Gleason Score 5+5
My problems are like a full truck and wonder if that is the reason why my
PSA
remains above 7 after RP. Cancerous cell seems have spread to lymphnodes as i heard it prodcues
PSA
to make my
PSA
so high. It seems 5+5=10's prognosis is very gloomy.

Will greatly appreciate your perspectives
PSA
in 3/22 was 2.5 (2.6 in 2020). 11/22 I repeated many labs.
PSA
elevated to 5. Got MRI -- PiRads 4. Biopsy GL 4+3, PNI, lesion contained, mid-gland. Urologist and Radiation Oncologist both agreed RP was the best choice for me.

Rising PSA...again..
My
PSA
is 0.19, a significant rise it seems to me. Not sure what comes next, at this point.

low back problems
My
PSA
has been undetectable since early in my ADT regimen, and remained so as recently as 2 weeks ago. I began to have low back pain, sometimes extending to my hips and glutes, but no further, around 6 weeks ago.

Dose titration for CRPC
[PMC free article] [PubMed] [CrossRef] [Google Scholar) For me right now with a
PSA
of 10 and starting on 20% abiraterone, how far should I push my
PSA
level down? Any and all opinions welcome. Thanks and best wishes to all.

CHAMP Trial/Small Cell Chemo Update
His
PSA
had been undetectable so it really threw us for a loop. My dad finished 6 sessions of carbo & etoposide chemo about 3 weeks ago. He is still randomly vomiting and very weak with a low hemoglobin. He had a scan Wednesday and met with his doc, Dr.

Darolutamide
I have been on Zoladex this last 6 months & have a
PSA
of 1.03 now, coming off Firmagon before that. Now the MO advises a 3 month break & then start Darolutamide tablets. Thanks for any input.

0.22
Psa
remained at 0.22 for next 3 months. My urologist who did RP said it could be "reactive lymph nodes". A CT scan and bone scan revealed nothing. A psma pet was done from my chin to my knees. Report stated no evidence of PC.

5 year diagnosis anniversary!
I just passed my 5 years diagnosis anniversary, and I’m happy to report that my treatment has been durable and my
PSA
remains < 0.01. At diagnosis, I had a
PSA
of 211, an alk phos above 900, multiple Mets, a Gleason of 9 (5+4), and a wonky, non-hereditary PTEN gene.
