PSA
at 6.0. Started taking Taxomere and Lupron treatments.. my
PSA
levels went from 6 to 1 to 0.2. I still have three more treatments to go.. Hope this gives hope to people. The taxomere seems to work fairly well.

Active Surveillance
My
PSA
went as high as 13 then back down to 11 the last time it was checked in July. My question is should I be getting any more biopsies? The second one was supposed to be to confirm the cancer and it showed less cancer than the first. I've been on active surveillance for about 2.5 years. Thanks.

Inherited aggressive pc
Brother had
psa
of 10 at age 59 and dre revealed some abnormality, biopsy revealed pc and he had 20 sessions EBRT and no ADT, no problems after, that was 12 years ago, he can't remember his gleason score and has lost his biopsy report. I've been diagnosed favourable intermediate risk.

Just joined the club no one wants to be a member of in April 2023 - can Gleason 9 be cured ?
The highest my
PSA
has ever been was 5.48 in December 2022 and it dropped to .09 with Testosterone of 14 in August two months after a shot of Eligard and 3 months of Casodex. Since then I have had 48 seeds planted via Brachytherapy and I am about to start EBRT.

Clean PET/CT Scan - Why no treatment change?
My MO (who I like and trust) keeps telling me that we're going to stay the course until my
PSA
increases. (Why fix something that isn't broke?)

Intermittent ADT
I was given a 3 month Lupron shot which reduces my
PSA
to 0.24 ug/l. I'm considering going on IADT....6 months of ADT followed by 6 months break and repeat. Anyone tried such a treatment...what are the results? Thanks for any advice.

Revisiting Intermittent Therapy in Metastatic Prostate Cancer
Can intermittent therapy (a break from treatment) for high responders (
PSA
< .2 over 18-24 mos) on ADT+ARPi be more effective than continuous ADT (the current standard for mHSPCa). Two benefits they are looking/hoping for are: 1.

SBRT to Prostate and Lymph node ?
There is apparently an increase in
PSA
as seen with the repeat test but the PSMA scan has only detected reduced mets and no new mets. Only the prostate and a lymph node close to it show active uptake , if so what is behind the rise in
PSA
? 2.

Living life after a prostatectomy
I'm on hormone therapy and it's dropped my
PSA
from 1 to .1. I would love to talk to someone who is going through the same things or has already gone through it. I would love to hear from him.

Happy Days are here again - PSA post IMRT
T under 10 and
PSA
dropped again from 5.2 to
3.89

,
but I normally go thru Kaiser and this was Quest Labs. I think Kaiser sends out
PSA
to another lab.

PSMA PET Scan Question
I heard on a PCa support group call, from a retired MD, that if your
PSA
is below 0.1 a PSMA PET scan isn’t useful because it requires a certain level of the
PSA
to find metastases. Does anyone know if that’s true or is it more of a wives tale or just anecdotal? Thanks!

PSA up to 150 on Olaprib, any insight on what’s next?
Since restarting Olaprib, his
PSA
has gone from 83 to 150. These results came in long after his MO appointment yesterday so we have no direction quite yet. Any advice on other treatments to may be effective assuming this one has failed for him?
