buserelin shortage
hi everyone , Am back again after deciding to do our third collection . We are going for the long protocol again but our doctor has advised there is a shortage of buserelin so we can either wait for that ( they can’t advise when this will be ) or we have been offered prostap . They have said this

Battling two cancers on two fronts, simultaneously
Has anyone fought PCa and NEPc simultaneously? I have had PCa-classic since 2011. After lupron/lusinipril for years, I began Casodex . Bad reaction, switched to Zytiga. That affected my liver enzymes, so on to Xtandi. It worked well. So, this last August a lump was found under my jaw at the lymph node

Lead Prostate Cancer Candidate Bria-Pros+, Initiates GMP Manufacturing
I do not like headers like "Ground-breaking" or "Practice changing" but hopefully they will keep their promise in this case... "We are enthusiastic about commencing GMP manufacturing for our prostate cancer clinical candidate, continuing our efforts at transforming targeted cancer therapy via the introduction

10th year
Ten years ago I had my Gleason 9 prostate removed. PSA was .1 for a while. It crept up over .2, and I began taking lupron. The drug brought PSA back down to >.01 for a year or so. As the level started going up again, I received whole pelvis bed radiation, moving PSA to undetectable. After a year or so

Last chance saloon or what?
My most recent PSA score went up to 9.04 from 2.45 in March, 2.14 in January 1.05 in November and it was 0.61 in August. I finished Docetaxyl chemotherapy on 7th Septemb er last year so I've only been on Prostap with prednisolone since then. My onco says he will arrange urgent bone scan and full body

The range of access to Pluvicto (Lu177-PSMA-617) radionuclide treatment is expanding. Great news. The PSMA-Fore trial recently showed that it iis very beneficial before docetaxel chemotherapy in mCRPC. Neuroendocrine prostate cancer could be restored to a state that responds to treatment
[i]It may be possible to restore drug-resistant neuroendocrine prostate cancer to a state that responds to treatment by depletion of a certain protein in cancer cells. A recent study published in Communications Biology by the University of Eastern Finland found that this protein, DPYSL5, is expressed

xtandi beginning to fail?
Seven months ago my PSA was 0.06. Three months ago PSA at my URO’s office was 0.11. I asked him if xtandi was beginning to fail me, he would not give me a answer. March 11th PSA at my MO’s office PSA was < 0.1. MO was happy with that number. I get checked again the 25th of this month at my URO. I

I had a RP June 2023 I just got the results from my forth PSA test the first three were a post prostatectomy PSA test and all three were 0.02 this last one was a PSA, total. That’s what the Urologist wanted

Scared and Feeling Helpless
Let me start by saying that it was my intention to wait for an official diagnosis for my dad before I started posting here. I found this group recommended on the Prostate Cancer Reddit Forum. I’ve been really struggling lately with absolute utter fear and lack of control (more on that later). My dad

ADT Holiday?
I'm posting for my husband. Gleason 9, cdk12, reoccurrence 18 months after RP. Scans cancer in lymph node and possibly sternum. Had radiation and 2 successful years of Orgovyx and Zytiga. Dr says he can take a holiday from meds but my husband is concerned that the cancer will return without meds
