Prostap heavy bleeding
Hi Everyone, I had the Prostap injection 3 weeks ago. So far it has made the pain worse which I expected, as I was told this might happen. However this week I keep having floods of heavy bleeding with no warning. It happened at work yesterday. I'm struggling to cope with it, I don't feel I can go

Please Help!
Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help/advise? I started Prostap3 end of Jan with Myomectomy booked for May. I have a subscerosal Fibroid measuring 20cm! The Prostap has worked wonders in shrinking the Fibroid although after 7 weeks all the menopause symptoms have disappeared and the fibroid is back.

Theoretical study indicates the most practical natural anti-prostate cancer compound is grape seed extract
B2G2, the most active ingredient of grape seed extract (GSE), can act as an agonist for PTEN. PTEN has a key role in suppressing PCa cells by applying phosphatase activity and inhibiting cell proliferation. Investigation on the mechanisms by which the herbal remedies induce anti-prostate cancer activity

Appreciate cabazitaxel users to respond
I stopped Docetaxel at 8th round because my lower legs came down with serious edema. I plan to be treated with cabazitaxel which has less side effects. I know all individuals have different situations, Appreciate Cabazitaxel users to respond as to edema, hair loss, etc. Thanks.

catheter for urinary retention
Does anyone have advice or tips on getting a catheter removed? My husband had it inserted due to urinary retention. The oncologist said his prostrate is full of cancer and pressing on the urethra. He has started adt with casodex and lupron. Soon to add zytiga. He also takes flomax. He’s tried twice

CRISPR Identifies New Genes as Drivers of Prostate Cancer Metastasis
Three research groups recently independently elucidated the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms driving prostate cancer metastasis. The innovative use of CRISPR technology not only facilitated the discovery of the genes but also opened potential new avenues for targeted cancer therapies to prevent metastasis

Zometa and Dexa scan
Onco has suggested Zometa as husband has been on ADT for several years. I am reluctant to throw another med at him if it's not definitely necessary. So would you recommend Dexa scan to check for problems before simply accepting Zometa? [Further info: He has never had bone mets show on regular nuclear

Metastatic Prostate Cancer
Just started Zytiga, prednisone and hormone shots for recurrent prostate cancer that has returned and spread to lungs. Just wondering if anyone else is taking these drugs and what their experience has been with side effects the first month or so. Thanks.

Sacituzumab govitecan, an anti-Trop-2 antibody-drug conjugate, for treating cerebral metastasized castration-resistant prostate cancer.
Improved survival rates have been observed in castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) due to advancements in treatment options. However, individuals with brain metastases still have limited therapeutic options and an unfavorable prognosis. Therefore, there is an urgent need to explore new therapeutic

UBX-103: potentially first in class AR degrader
keep an eye on this (help me I am running out of eyes!) an AR degrader really aims at destroying AR receptors, the idea is that when a second generation arsi is no longer working (Enza, Daro,…) you still have the option to use this new drug for metastatic prostate cancer https://www.biospace.com/article

Low baseline testosterone and link to overall survival in advanced prostate cancer.
My husband’s baseline testosterone levels came back at 202. Is there a correlation between low baseline testosterone and overall survival after treatment for advanced prostate cancer? There seem to be inconclusive studies and often opposite results on the topic. So any insight would be appreciated.
