HRT
I don't know where to post this, apologize if this is really inappropriate. I have alopecia, think it's female pattern baldness but not sure. Doctor never told me but that's what the symptoms match. Anyway, I'm 74 and would like to go on hormone replacement therapy. Yeah, crazy, right? Anyway, thought

side effects from nature thyroid
Just curious if anyone else has severe tinnitus and hair loss from this medication. I'm on one grain and my levels look good. More hair loss on this compared to Tirosint same equivalent dosage. Also fatigue in the afternoon, falling asleep trying to watch anything on the TV by 8:00. TSH is 1.70 and my

forgot to stop taken my biotin and levothyroxine before a blood test
Hi People, Could you tell be how the thyroid testing is affected by Biotin and levothyroxine. I forgot to stop taking Biotin and I took my Levothyroxine at 4am on the morning of my bloodtest. How is the TSH affected - up or down?

Endo appt
Hi all iv got my endo appt in the morning. And I forgot and took my supplement with biotin in yesterday. Is it really not worth me getting my bloods done until iv got the biotin about 5 days out my system?

Thought I'd be brave and share this! I hope it evokes some commonly shared feelings...I’ve posted it once before but took it down!

Hair loss
i have recently had my prescription review with the pharmacist at my local medical centre and she lowered my dose of levothyroxine from 125 to 100, since then my hair seems to be thinning drastically. I have recently started taking biotin but have now read that it's not advisable for a thyroid condition

Nurse Appointment
Had my rheumy nurse appointment today. Well it went a lot better than i could have expected. My liver result was 120 and has gone down to 90, so it is slowly coming down and she has told me it will sort itself out. She has advised for me not to be put back on methotrexate at all, as it is not the drug

Decapeptyl/ Triptorelin 2nd Injection Flare?
Hi ladies, I'm going for my 2nd injection and I'm really really worried about having another flare stage.. it was so horrendous the first time round, It was the sickest I've ever been and I've just started a new job, I can't bare the idea of going through it again. Can anyone tell me if you flare again

Another hair loss one! For those of you who managed to halt the loss...
I have posted quite a few times on here and usually have a good response. Like many others I suffer from awful diffuse hair loss ( going on 18 months). I’m due to see my GP again about this in 2 weeks as long as these bloods show my Tsh and T4 are still in range and everything else is in range ( female

Anyone ever diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome?
Last night I discovered Mast Cell Activation Syndrome which seems to fit my current collection of weird symptoms (everything from flushing to reflux to oedema) really well. Unfortunately it's not, currently, a broadly accepted diagnosis with doctors, which makes me very anxious about broaching it, but

Strawberries to Even Out Your Skin Tone
Skin is as much in need of a strawberry dose as your tongue.
