Despite being off of
prolia
for over 2 years, should I go on something else or just continue to fight this via diet and exercise?

newbie with jaw pain
He bullied me into a shot of
prolia
. (I should have argued but I'm a wimp) Anyway I was down to 10 mg prednisone and he didn't suggest methotrexate so I was happy. He told me to do a slow taper to 7 pred. and come back in a couple of months.

I'm new here and afraid of breast cancer
My oncologist prescribed Anastrozole which I take along with injections of
Prolia
every six months. I'm afraid because I see it all the time; women who were cleared only to have the cancer return years later in other parts of the body.

Bisphosphonates & Prolia -- DANGEROUS
I have lots of interest in the subject because I have osteoporosis (said NO to the drugs) and am trying to talk my mother and aunt into reconsidering the
Prolia
shots.

Has anyone had hip replacement surgery after stopping
Prolia
? Was it successful? Did your bone grow around the artificial material? Did any fractures occur?

Lupron, Prolia and Creakiness
I'm scheduled to have my 1st
prolia
treatment in a couple of days, & I read that a common side effect of
prolia
is joint stiffness and pain. Yikes! Another 20 years next week? When I describe the creakiness, my MO who give me the lupron says only "You can blame that on us." Likely so.

Prolia Experience
My urologist and MO had recommended that I take
Prolia
treat the one density issues. I have read a lot of negative comments on the internet concerning the serious side effects of the medication. Most recommend that one should not take the drug if possible since quality of life will be affected.

Prolia and needing extraction
I would like to hear from anyone on
Prolia
who had an extraction and details of how long on
Prolia
and since injections are six mont interval, what month away from injection did you have extraction? Possible necrosis has me worried. Some dentists will not do it.
