Progesterone

I had a uterine biopsy that showed high NK cells and the need for extra progesterone. We transferred a hatching blast on our second IVF, I've been taking 20mg prednisolone, 4 x 400mg cyclogest, 25mg prognova (all daily) and prontogest injections every three days. This cycle has also failed.

I also plan to start on the progesterone only pill with the aim of reducing any endo growth and making my periods lighter. Has anyone tried the coil? I'm pretty keen on my sport and being in a high progesterone phase all the time isn't ideal for maximising training gains!

Blood result at 14dp5dt - hcg 62 and Progesterone 45.9 Blood result at 16dp5dt - hcg 133 and Progesterone 17.9 Although Progesterone remained in the 'normal' range, the drop scared me, especially after having bled before 6 weeks in my 2 pregnancies last year and ultimately losing them both.

So I recently finished my first FET on 04/20/21, and have been taking progesterone injections. I am sure most of you are aware that these injections can cause knots. I have knots on each side and I am not sure what to do to get rid of them or if there is anything I can do. Suggestions welcomed.

I just have a few questions which I could ask the nurses I’m sure but wanted to speak with the Dr really - firstly with natural FET should I use progesterone support. I have some at home but because I had a freeze all didn’t use them.

When do I start my progesterone for my medicated FET? I’ll be transferring a day 6 embryo Thanks xxxx

I was also bloated but I think that was to do with all the meds and progesterone. Right now, from day 7 onwards, I don't have any symptoms like spotting, cramping, sore boobs, etc and that is worrying me.

Is this the progesterone pessaries? I try to do deep breathing etc but I feel exhausted. Thank you

Hi, I am on progynova and progesterone and just wondering do these completely stop ur period and if not when should I expect my period if my cycle has failed? Xx

But my MRI and Ultrasound both came back "normal", the specialist told me that because hormones haven't helped my chronic pain (I've been taking a progesterone only pill for 2 months now) and my scans are alright, it's unlikely that I have endometriosis.

I know this sounds so ridiculous (please don’t laugh 😔), my thoughts are all out of control with the progesterone. I’ve told a couple of friends and a lot of my family regarding our ivf and that we’re waiting on results soon, now I think I’ve completely jinxed it.

I am on Aspirin and progesterone suppositories.

I had a 3 day transfer via IVF and on lubion progesterone injections once a day only. I wonder if this is linked to progesterone or whether of I need to up the progesterone. Please could anyone advice with an similar experience thank you so much.

Also, question, woke up this morning with a rash on the tops of my thighs, it’s lumpy like a heat rash, could this be because of the progesterone? I blame everything on it 😂😂 Thanks, and keep positive thoughts for me xxx

I bought some recently it doesn’t state if it contains soy What progesterone do others use ? I can’t take HRT due to my heart Thanks

Just wondered if anyone has monitored their progesterone levels after coming off IVF support drugs.

Blood test at 21 days showed slightly low progesterone and higher estrogen levels. I have seen many doctors/different GPs and have done a lot of research into my symptoms, but can't seem to find any answers. I did consider Thyroid conditions, but all tests are within 'normal' range.

I didn’t think you could actually come on period while taking progesterone (twice a day)? It’s definitely light period today not spotting. Any thoughts/help/advice/similar stories grateful. I’m obviously feeling so sad & helpless now. Thanks team xx

I’m in the middle of a natural FET and I started extra progesterone 4 days ago in preparation for my transfer tomorrow. I’ve had pelvic cramps all evening, almost like AF and wondering if anyone else has had this and if it’s normal?

I had some twinges on right lower abdomen, probably the progesterone...... Help ...anyone..?
