PIO Knots!!

Hello ladies, its me again lol. So I recently finished my first FET on 04/20/21, and have been taking progesterone injections. I am sure most of you are aware that these injections can cause knots. I have knots on each side and I am not sure what to do to get rid of them or if there is anything I can do. Suggestions welcomed.

Hey lovely. I got these after a while too. A couple of things that I’m sure you’re doing:

- inject slowly so no build up of solution

- massage the area afterwards

- also choose a different spot for each injection so there are different sites every time and you’re not injecting straight into a bump/ knot

- do some exercise after each injection or some squats/ go for a walk etc but don’t just sit down as you want to distribute the solution. Exercise is meant to assist with this.

Hope that helps. Good luck

Xx

Defo do that. As I say it helps distribute the solution 👍. You don’t need to do a workout (!) but just a walk is fine. I was taking mine in winter so walking round the block in the evening wasn’t possible as it was freezing! But it’s lighter now so may be poss but also up and down the stairs/ squats, walking on the spot etc x

Also use heat pack for 10 minutes before and after injecting on injection site and gently warm the oil vial under boob before injecting so it goes on smoothly. So far I've only got a few knots compared with multitudes last time. I hate these injections!

I have been using my heating pad and just massaging it throughout the day, they actually seem to be going away slowly. 🤞🤞

Oh yes! I forgot the number one rule! Put the vial in your bra to warm it up. I used to do it half an house before the injection. Definitely makes a big difference x
