Results back and 2nd FET

Hi ladies,

Hope everyone is getting on okay, huge congratulations to all of the safe arrivals and BFPs I’ve seen over the last few weeks 🥰

We’ve been trying our best to just get on with everything else in life and not focusing on TTC/IVF whilst waiting for results of my thrombophilia screening (told they would take 8 weeks) following our second miscarriage. To our surprise they came back last week and all was fine. My consultant has said we can get on with another FET if we want but I can’t get an appointment with her for another 6ish weeks so it would mean going ahead with it without talking to the consultant first. I just have a few questions which I could ask the nurses I’m sure but wanted to speak with the Dr really - firstly with natural FET should I use progesterone support. I have some at home but because I had a freeze all didn’t use them. The consultant said last time I could but then before transfer the embryologist said not to. Wonder if I should ask for bloods to check my levels before transfers. Also a long shot but want to ask if they’d consider putting 2 embryos back in!

Either way im so happy the blood results came back normal and I feel ready to give it another go. I am waiting to find out if a different consultant would be able to speak to us.

Hey Mai94, I have done 1 natural FET. Resulted in a BFP but then MMC, I too got all the tests done and all clear. I am going for a second natural FET and for the first time will have 2 put back. Last time I had prog support without testing, this time I have asked to not have any and test my levels first. My consultant agreed with this as I have previously tested my levels and they were good, plus as I had no bleeding during MMC even well after stopping the pessaries my consultant thinks I have high enough levels naturally. Good luck for your next transfer, natural FET is so much easier and gentle on your body x
