Can anyone tell me if they know if product contains soy beans ? Is it safe to use for T3 users ?

I bought some recently it doesn’t state if it contains soy

What progesterone do others use ?

I can’t take HRT due to my heart

Thanks

Hi,

Have you thought about contacting the manufacturer? I've never tried either creams so I cannot advise.

TT x.

Do you find it helpful

Yes I wouldn't be without it, although I can't say its really helped with thyroid & adrenal issues. But I do feel worse without it as a menopausal woman.

in reply tobagpuss61

Where did you get if from , I’ve just looked on Amazon I can’t find it .

Did you find it helpful for menopause weight gain?

Weight gain is usually connected to estrogen dominance. I took calcium D glucarate for that as it helps the liver alleviate excess estrogen. which did help with weight loss after a few months plus very healthy living, loads of veg and fruit, minimal meat if any, and good carbs such as brown rice and sweet potatoes. by taking progesterone it increases the ratio as progest should be higher than estrogen. And then of course getting the thyroid balanced helps with keeping the weight off, I'm on T3 only which suits me better.

I’ve looked this Calcium D Glucarate up , is it by any chance on par with Oesteocare that’s calcium magnesium and D3

Calcium D glucarate is completely different. It tackles Beta glucuronidase in the gut which if you have in excess causes metabolised oestrogen to be reabsorbed. You can identify this in a GI MAP stool test. That’s one of the reasons gut health is so important. Also helps with liver detoxification of oestrogen.

in reply toSerendipitious

How do I get a GI MAP stool test ?

Serendipitious profile image
Serendipitious in reply to

That’s a test you can get through a practitioner like a nutritional therapist or a doctor that has an interest in functional medicine.

I’d recommend reading Izabella Wentz’s book to get a grounding on all this first.

Hashimoto's Protocol: A 90-Day Plan for Reversing Thyroid Symptoms and Getting Your Life Back amazon.co.uk/dp/B01HXK6GVQ/...

in reply toSerendipitious

I don’t think we have functional doctors in the UK .

Serendipitious profile image
Serendipitious in reply to

You’re right we don’t through the NHS. You could look up providers of the test and see which practitioners offer it. Often the websites that sell it can give you that information.

There are nutritional therapists in the U.K. that can help and have training.

in reply toSerendipitious

I’ll look into this thank you .

in reply toSerendipitious

Thank you so much for this info very helpful 😇

in reply toSerendipitious

I’ve just looked it up , these are very expensive . Isn’t there an alternative ? A cheaper option

I’d recommend reading the book by Dr Izabella Wentz first to get a grounding on the subject and she has her own protocols too which you can follow.

in reply toSerendipitious

Is she vegetarian friendly ?

I’ve quickly checked your profile sounds like you’re having menopausal or perimenopause issues. Highly recommend you check out Dr Lara Briden’s website and books.

Yes Dr Wentz does speak for non meat eaters.

Are you still using the red lamp? Is it still helping? Dr Wentz recommends red light therapy.

in reply toSerendipitious

I am 😊 I restarted it a few weeks ago after taking a break . I’m only using it on my scalp tho because I’ve lost so much hair . I can see it’s helping re growth but I’m also taking biotin 1000mg each morning

If you’re peri menopausal that can cause lots of hypothyroid like symptoms too, including hair loss.

Wellsprings Serenity Cream

wellsprings-health.com

I’ve been using it for years without any problems and I’m on T4/T3 combo.

in reply toTrillylil

Good to know , the only reason I felt comfortable buying it was the fact Dr Petefield put his seal of approval on it . He was a knowledgable chap on T3 . Then I read somewhere that progesterone contains Soy .

Thanks for your input
