Progesterone

Hello lovely ladies, i am thinking of trying progesterone supplementation to support early pregnancy.

I have these meds from my treatment which are left if anyone interested can Dm and I can let know the quantity I have. I am looking into different options we have to get pregnant so I am taking a little break and thought this might be useful to someone now who are taking treatment. We are in

I don't feel especially reassured with the constructed cycle as my clinic does not check for progesterone or anything to be honest apart from lining and they go with the minimum rather optimum. They are one size fits all, no will for looking at my particular circumstances. 

Time time I have had a natural cycle FET but clinic gave me a trigger shot after transfer, no progesterone so can't put anything down to drugs.. not that there has been that much. I lasted until 4DP5DT until I decided to test out the trigger using cheap tests- big mistake as they are terrible.

My cancer was estrogen and progesterone fed. I'm only on estrogen atm. I also had endometriosis which I assume the surgeon removed during my op.

I triggered with Buserelin due to being at risk for OHSS and I have read that this can lead to a short luteal phase which is why they prescribe progesterone (2 x 400mg) and estrogen (6mg) daily. I just can’t help feeling that I have had a short luteal phase despite being on those doses of meds.

So my last protocol was lubian, inhixa folic acid, utrogestion and progesterone as usual, plus till transfer steroids tablets with a pgt tested embryo and still miscarried. What can I do next? Anyone been in a similar situation what did you do? I still have 2 pgt embryo.

Seems like my body is trying to have its period but is stopped by the progesterone supplements.

My question is that normally does the progesterone level fall so quickly and if so is 25 ng/ ml a very low value? -(Considering today it is day 4 post 5 day transfer of frozen blastocyst) . Has anyone had higher doses of progesterone ? Thanks a lot for your help.

I am 13dp5dtand Bhcg came back at788 Iu/l today But progesterone is 25 ng/ml ….it was 113ng/ml 2 days ago. Should I be concerned with this drastic fall?? Im on pessaries, uterogestan oral and prolutex injection ! Any suggestions/ personal experience would be very very appreciated!!

Today I am day 13 following embryo transfer, in the past 48 hours my beta almost doubled ( from 532to 1023 ) but my progesterone is 673 , is this a to high progesterone ? Did anyone had so high progesterone ? What was the clinic advice?

In the last 6 days we have been checking progesterone via bloods and it has gradually dropping however it was above 100 yesterday ( its what my clinic would like to see). I was on lubion 2 x per day and since yesterday added pessaries 3 times per day.

Bit of a weird one that I'd love your thoughts on: Has anyone had a natural FET with no progesterone at all? I had progesterone pessaries for my last FET, which ended in an early miscarriage.

My question is will the progesterone Pessary prolong a loss or mask it all together? I’ve contacted my clinic but no response as of yet and EPU have basically told me to ride it out as im too early at 4w3d. Im not fully bleeding but have got some brown spotting when wiping only.

Spoke to her today and I’m going to try evorol conti patches instead of everol oestrogen patch and progesterone pills. It seems it’s the progesterone pill that’s likely to be causing the side effects. So we’ll see how that works out.

I did my egg collection last month and I was medicated with estrogen and progesterone to avoid bleeding before test day, as I always started bleeding on day 24-26 in previous rounds. My fresh transfer turned out to be a negative.
