IUI at 42
The other thing is, the drugs are just unbearable for me now on a stimulation cycle and the
progesterone
makes me extremely depressed - i'm almost done with it all!

HRT - does it take effect quickly?
I am just about to start a trial of oestrogen patches and
progesterone
tablets. I still have regular periods but have on going fatigue and muscle aches, palpitations etc. Gp thinks it's because I'm perimenopausal.

One more day to OTD and I'm losing my mind!
It's making me think I don't have that extra
progesterone
kicking in that would be happening if I'm pregnant. Sorry, I'm just rambling now, only 24 hours to go.

After help for a friend, only able to do natural transfers due to migraine?
You all helped me so much when I was on my fertility journey I was hoping you had some information to help my friend. When she was on a contraceptive pill she had to be on
progesterone
only as she'd previously had a migraine (only 1 or 2 in her lifetime).

Hypothyroid symptoms but normal test results
I have had a hormonal test which indicates normal estrogen and
progesterone
levels though androgen is raised (I am mid-40s so thought I would be in deep perimenopause and needed HRT. Apparently not. I did not go through the NHS so there was no fob off element). Cold hands and feet.

Thoughts please!
•I’m particularly wondering about a
progesterone
deficiency which I read is common w PCOS? Appreciate this is super niche but keen to hear thoughts! It really feels to me like something else is causing my high Tsh.

Hormone Help
Also not sure how well that will work for me given it’s
progesterone
and I haven’t reacted well to the pill or implant previously. Currently on the waiting list at my local BSGE centre, it’s looking like initial appointment will be August.

Cramping at 10 weeks
I am not bleeding, but I am not feeling reassured about this as I am still taking
progesterone
- so I am afraid that this could be holding off any spotting or bleeding. I suppose I am wondering if any of you have had cramping appear at this stage that turned out to be normal?

Fresh transfer took place on Monday! Anyone in the same boat?
It almost didn't happen as my
progesterone
blood test was borderline (high end) on egg collection day and the doctor advised against a fresh transfer (freeze all protocol and FET in Jan). However I pushed for a fresh transfer and it was finally allowed late on Monday after a scan.

***SENSITIVE*** Positive and freaking out
Should they be checking
progesterone
levels etc? They didn't do any blood tests at all last time.... Again I'm sorry to post this. Kind of don't know where else to turn....

High prolactin, low progesterone, high testosterone, etc..
i thought i had thyroid disease (my dad has Hashimoto’s) because my levels haven’t been ‘optimal’ in the past. my test results show i don’t have Hashimoto’s, however i do have: - low
progesterone
- high prolactin - high testosterone - low sex hormone binding globulin - high free androgen index

extremely worried - FSH and LH levels
I tried the
progesterone
only pill for 3 months this year, it is called Slynd. I stopped that as it gave me terrible pain and bloating. Whilst on Slynd, I undertook a full set of bloods. The FSH was an alarming 72.5 and the LH, 22.6. I am worried to death.

Blood test confusion
I didn’t actually ask what she was getting tested bloods wise as I presumed it would be things like estrogen,
progesterone
, testosterone, AMH etc. When I rang my GP reception for the results it’s turned out that she’s tested me for Hep B, Hep C, Rubella immunity, Syphillus, HIV and Chlymadia.
