Bisphosphonates & Prolia -- DANGEROUS
Ladies, I'm an almost licensed nutritionist. These drugs mess around with your bones natural cycles of breaking down and building up. Bones are living tissues that are meant to turn over. Bisphosphonates suppress osteoclasts -- the cells that break down old bone cells and remove debris. So, yes, your

Hi Battle Brothers: As my title states, it has been 4 years + 2 months since a miserable initial DX of 209 PSA and bone mets (November 2014) and here I am today still undetectable with all good labs as of today...Still on monthly Degalerix (Firmagon) HT shots and daily 50 mg of Casodex...Added Prolia

Lupron, Prolia and Creakiness
Fairly active 70-yr old, Dx 18 months ago, Gleason 10, several bone and lymph node mets. On Lupron since Dx, chemo & RP in first 8 months. PSA now undetectable for almost a yr, testosterone <3 ng/dl. For the first year, mild side effects of ADT: hot flashes, shrinkage of "the boys", etc. But starting

No meds can help - ANY FURTHER OPTIONS - please?
Hello, there, everyone. I am one of the victims of Prolia. I have just turned 60 and am recovering from 5 vertebral fractures after stopping taking Prolia in October of 2017. I have already exhausted my bisphosphonate period (I was first diagnosed about 12 years ago) and unfortunately, after the fractures

Has anyone had Hip replacement after stopping Prolia?
Has anyone had hip replacement surgery after stopping Prolia? Was it successful? Did your bone grow around the artificial material? Did any fractures occur?

Has Anyone Stopped Prolia with No Fractures in the Year to Two Year Period After Stopping - Please Share How You Did It & Recommendations
My fifth Prolia shot is due in March 2019. Because of side effects I'm having I want to stop doing Prolia. I recently found out about the serious nature of the rebound effect. So I made an appointment to see my primary care doctor and inquire about a protocol for discontinuing Prolia Got no acknowledgement

Prolia Experience
I've been on Eligard for four years and have developed osteoporosis and osteopenia. My urologist and MO had recommended that I take Prolia treat the one density issues. I have read a lot of negative comments on the internet concerning the serious side effects of the medication. Most recommend that

Hip surgery - Osteonecrosis - Prolia - My life is now a mess
I had 3 injections of Prolia. I stopped my 10/18 shot due to a tooth extraction on 06/07/18, resulting in serious infection and confirmed Osteonecrosis. As of 12/12/18 my mouth is 90% healed (I have had dead skin tissue dug out 2 times!) Also, I am near bone on bone on my left hip and am scheduled

Seeking information on Reclast
For many reasons I would like to get off Prolia. Doctor has suggested switching to Reclast (Zolendronic Acid) administered by IV. Does anyone here have experience with this?

Prolia and needing extraction
I would like to hear from anyone on Prolia who had an extraction and details of how long on Prolia and since injections are six mont interval, what month away from injection did you have extraction? Possible necrosis has me worried. Some dentists will not do it.

Why Didn't my wrist break?
Hello Everyone. Back from the holiday from hell, I survived just. It was so depressing developing Tendoniitis in my left foot which meant I limped my way through 5 countries in a lot of pain not to mention feeling like I would collapse from the humidity. Seriously, that is the first time in my life

Introduction and progress
Recently joined, so want to update all on my progress. Now 74, retired veterinarian. Diagnosed in in 2008 with biopsy, Gleason 7. Travelled to Orlando to have a Robotic prostatectomy by an expert. SV's also had cancer and specimen showed some Gleason 9. One dirty margin at surgery. PSA undetectable

Dental Implants vs Prolia
I wud say yes, go ahead. My Dentist proceeded with my implant even tho my last injection was last March, 2018! He is giving it a month or so longer for the bone graph to take. Consult your own Dentist.

Prolia, destroys the Body Natural Immunity
I, too, hold Prolia responsible for all my health problems in 2017, after only 3 injetions (retinal tears, development of extreme skin issues-Vitiligo, onset of Hashimotos Disease), overall weakness & slowed healing process! My Dentist even told me to stop taking it immediately. I tried to pursue legal
