Reduce or not
Just had blood work completed and numbers are higher than last month still in normal range. Been on 20 for three weeks rheumatologist wants me on 17.5. I believe I need another week on 20 at least. Started Prolia for bones three weeks ago and the side effects are achy body and lowEr abdominal pain

Prolia
Has anyone taken Prolia for bones? I took my first shot today. I have read some awful side effects and would like to know if anyone in this group has used this medication. I was unable to take anything orally. This was a last resort but not looking forward to the next six months. Your comments are

Denosumab / Prolia
Because of osteoporosis caused by years of using prednisolon I have to take an injection with denosumab/Prolia every six month. Denosumab injection (Prolia) is used to treat osteoporosis (a condition in which the bones become thin and weak and break easily) in men and in women who have undergone menopause

Fosteum for osteporosis?
Hi everyrone, I just found this on an osteoporosis site- has anyone tried it? Is it safer than the bone density drugs? I saw my gyn and he wants me to go to rheumatologist to treat this, I will look for one asap. I'm having a lot more pain in my back and I hope it is not due to O but I'm worried it

Osteoporosis Drug Prolia Gets Two New Warnings
Osteoporosis seems to be a very throny problem. Nobody seems to be able to decide what is normal and what is not - and if it's not, what to do about it. And, as usual, Big Pharma is there to profit from the confusion as much as they can! Be warned... http://thehealthierlife.co.uk/natural-health-articles

Opinions Needed
Hi there Everyone! I sure feel your pain! I started out with hand, thumb, ankle joint pain and swelling. That progressed to elbow, shoulder and hips. Our family physician thought I had RA, but all test were negative, he sent me to a Rheumatologist, anyway. Many drugs and tests later, she pronounced

Just had my second Prolia shot less than two weeks ago. A few days ago I noticed thick hard skin on a few knuckles...Scleroderma?
Am suspecting that the Prolia has started Scleroderma, which I have never had before. Will be talking to my rheumatologist soon. Anyone else have it start up after beginning Prolia? My Raynaud's has been much worse this year, as well.

Has anyone with RA and osteophorosis had the Prolia shot?
I tried fosomax and had stomach issues, so now they would like for me to try the twice a year shot, any advice or any down sides you may have had? Thanks in advance.
