Want to stop Prolia
I have been on Prolia for 3 years and want to stop. Rheumatologist only says « you should stay on it » blah blah blah. I know that there’s risks of spontaneous fracture but the side effects and long term effects of Prolia are frightening. Anyone know of any natural remedies ( I am in my 60s). I take

ZOLENDRONIC ACID VERSUS PROLIA?
Hi Everyone 👋 Just looking for a bit of advice. I've had RA for 39 years, and have been on steroids for about 28 years now. I'm 53. As a result, it's affected my bone strength and I've had a number of Osteoporotic fractures. Initially I had Risedronate/Actonell but (like many people) was unable to

Has anyone had sacral ala (pelvic) insufficiency fracture while on Prolia and/or a bisphosphonate?
I've been on Actonel 35mg weekly for the past 18 months as a relay drug to discontinue Prolia without fracturing. Two weeks ago I woke up coughing violently at the end of a week in bed with bronchitis, and suddenly experienced a severe stabbing pain in my left rear pelvic bone (one of the two little

Finding the right doctor
Greetings! Has anyone had success finding a healthcare provider who is open to alternative treatments, or at least having an open minded discussion to review all the non-medical options? My advise so far is take Fosamax or Prolia without any deep discussion to determine how I feel about it, my life

My rheumatologist said I am going to have a hip or spine fracture and that will lead me to an earlier death, he said if I take the medication I will live longer. Osteoporosis
I am 63, male and was diagnosed with osteo in Sept 2017 as my spine result was -2.9, hip -2.5 and wrist +0.3 (except I had no fragile fractures) . Was told to take a Prolia type medication while endocrinologist tested all endo systems to tumours etc. Despite a couple of readings not quite right, low

Getting off Prolia
I've posted before and I received so much support on this site. Had only 1 shot of Prolia and my endo said I need to be on relay drug (Fosomax). I live in Hudson Valley NY. Was wondering if anyone can recommend a Dr. who can safely help me off of Prolia. Thanks so much for any recommendations.

Prolia question
Good Morning All, I'm a new member and have a few medical issues going on. First, I have Myelodysplastic Syndrome and take Revlimid to treat it. Second, I developed Osteoporosis 5 years ago, as a result of the medication. My doctor put me on Boniva first and I hurt so badly, he stopped it after

Please Advice
Because of spine injury that occurred 35 years ago, my Dexa Scan indicates that (the spine) L2 is 3.2, L3 is 3.1, L4 is 3.6. My Endocrinologist has prescribed Prolia and am reminded to take this drug each time I visit him. I have hesitated taking this for many years and recently started an exercise

Can too much denosumab cause heart problems?
My husband has been on 6 mo. Prolia injections since 2017. Recently, he decided to have treatment closer to home, as he was to receive docetaxel. His heart health has always been excellent. Upon receiving first chemo treatment on 7/19, he was also given a one month injection of Xgeva, although he

Alendronate- side effect (diarrhea)
I started alendronate 3 weeks ago and 3 days. In week 3 I am experiencing diarrhea, sometimes uncontrollable unless I take Imodium. I’ve taken this 4 years ago for 4 weeksand experienced no side effects. I wonder long I should wait to get use to it. Trying to avoid prolia. Has anyone experienced diarrhea

Help and Opinions on Prolia for Osteoporosis
After breaking 3 ribs for no reason and my bone density much worse, the rheumatologist, endocrinologist and GP felt Prolia may be the next step. There is no way to know what caused the ribs to break. I have taken Actonel, Boniva, Forteo and Fosamax already. I really did not want to consider this because
