Asthma app?
Hi all. Went for lung function tests recently, and they want me to record my peak flow 4 times a day. At the moment, I record my peak flow directly into the Apple Health app, but I can't print it out to give to anyone. Can anyone recommend an iOS app that links to Health and allows export without having

Alternative therapies: what I've learned
I've been on the PMR journey since 2014, and the pred episode since 2015. In that time I've also had an osteoporosis scare. Those interested in what I did about that can read https://healthunlocked.com/pmrgcauk/posts/137578304/my-osteoporosis-journey - a bit dated now, but successful anyway.... When

Irbesartan side effects.
My husband eliminated indigestion by following a low carb diet. Recently indigestion has returned, and it more or less coincided with changing to Irbesartan. Has anyone else noticed this?

Overcoming ADD without Meds
Has anyone tried to overcome their ADD without meds, antidepressants and choose to reduce symptoms with a low-carb diet (no preservatives/sugar/junk food etc.) combined with regular exercise, meditation & positive affirmations etc. I know this is not possible for everyone to improve their ADD symptoms

Anxiety -
So like most of you at the moment., Anxiety is high. I assume my asthma is manageable, I've possibly not been the best at being on top of it at times. A few weeks ago I had a cold or something flares my asthma and have just got a little more on top of it. Peak flow (on night one this week) is 625 ish

Feeling wheezy and tight chested but peak flow is high
I've had a bit of a viral infection (not Corona) which included sinusitis and mild chest infection. It lasted about two weeks and during that period I was getting more wheezy than normal. I increased my Fostair preventer inhaler to two puff morning and night but my wheezing has been getting worse. I

Quiche
This was what I had tonight. I also had asparagus and a Greek yogurt on the side. The crust was made with yellow rice and two different types of cheese and fake bacon pieces mixed in. Very good and low carb high protein. There are leftovers for another dinner.šš

Hyperventilation syndrome
Hello all, it has been a while, I want to share this information with you as it has literally saved me. I have had asthma since childhood, now I have it chronically as an adult, for several years it was managed with my flixotide inhaler and only rarely needing ventolin until the end of last year. Suddenly

Do we have to isolate or not?
Some actual concrete advice from Asthma UK would be great! Iāve looked on the NHS website and it says if you have severe asthma. Well thatās open to interpretation as I got told they donāt use the term brittle asthma anymore, they call it severe, so is mine severe or not? Luckily my peak flow only ever

Bone broth vs collagen powder
I've been looking at LCHF recipes which include collagen powder as an ingredient. I googled that to find out what it is. The answer scared me but then I read that bone broth has a useful supply of collagen. Does anyone take collagen powder or make bone broth? If so, how?

Low carb.....again.
In my never ending search for more low carb goodies to brighten my life I spend many an hour searching the web, there are numerous helpful sites and blogs. Another of my hunting grounds is Amazon, looking inside recipe books. The other day I discovered chaffles, a low carb waffle. Basically a batter
