Exhaustion
I'm off
prednisone
entirely now for about 10 days and am exhausted all the time. I guess this is "deathly fatigue?" I tapered super slowly, had been on just 1/2 mg for a few weeks.

From Prednisone to Morphine
I was wondering if anyone had been offered Morphine as an alternative to
Prednisone
? It’s been suggested to me by my new Rheumatologist recently. He’s questioning my diagnosis of PMR & suggests the pain is due to “wear & tear”.

Prednisone Taper
This is the second time that I have jumped up from 3mg to 8mg because of severe leg and knee pain, shoulder etc and a lot of fatigue. This was recommended and works beautifully. After two weeks I am suppose to drop back to 3mg but I feel so good, I don’t want to. What do my experts think? Thank

On prednisone taper
For 2 days Ihad no
prednisone
, but when I discovered PMR, I started taking 20 mg of
prednisone
(I had some from a previous condition that I hadn’t taken). The pain went away instantly. I saw my primary doctor on January 31, when he told me to try 10 mg.

Quick Question
I live in Canada and am wondering if it is standard practice in the UK to prescribe
prednisone
on a permanent basis for someone in extremely severe COPD as a help? It is here in different provinces. Thanks in advance😊

PMR pain or Adrenal issue
I just reduced my
prednisone
by a half mg a few days ago. My hips and knees are bothering me today. Could this be due my reduction of
prednisone
and my Adrenals stating to work? Should I go with it for a few days to see if it gets better or go back to my previous dose now?
