How do I go about discussing possible PTSD treatment with my PCP?
I requested a referral for a psychiatrist from my primary care physician about a month ago. There is a shortage of mental health professionals in my area, so she said it can take several months. I've been dealing with several symptoms that indicate PTSD for a little over a year now already, and have

I need support!
I signed on to this site on hopes of learning more about anxiety (PTSD) and depression disorders. I was just granted permanent guardianship of my two youngest grandchildren. A boy, 12 years old and a girl, 14 years old. They both suffer from Anxiety (PTSD) and depression. I feel so unequiped to help

hip pain in systemic sclerosis
hello all. I was diagnosed with systemic sclerosis and secondary raynaurds in December ( a week before Christmas) however, luckily very early. I have a sudden pain on the inside of my hip (almost groin) when I walk, especially upstairs and an uncomfortable chest (like a weight is on top of my lungs)

Writing about post partum psychosis
Hi all. I have recently come off all my medication after nearly three years & am experiencing some flashbacks from when I was very poorly. I wondered if anyone else had experienced this & whether writing about my experience may help? Just before I had PPP I graduated from University with a degree

Recently diagnosed with Postpartum Psychosis
I was recently (less than a month ago) diagnosed with postpartum psychosis after a psychiatric inpatient stay. I am feeling a bit alone in this, as I am in an intensive outpatient program but am the only person with Pospartum Psychosis. There doesn't seem to be much local support services for this condition

Hope for treatment resistant ptsd and depression
Another Christmas passed, thank goodness. It’s a terrible time of the year for some. For me, I spend the vast majority of the time with a mask on to shield the world from the dark void that resides within my head. This mask is exhausting, draining and in no way enjoyable to wear. It is however, necessary

2 grade 3 Comas with Sepsis, pneumonia, Mrsa and kidney failure and now PTSD.
I was in 2 grade 3 (there is no grade 1 or 2, grade 3 usually ends in a vegetive state or death) Comas with Sepsis, pneumonia, Mrsa and kidney failure. I was given a 1-2% survival rate, my family were told I was going to die. It’s now 4 months since I came home and I’m slowly recovering. I’ve been left

Ptsd is a bitch
So in may I was raped. I’m just gonna put it out there. I finally built the strength to tell the police and my parents etc, and now we have a court date. The court date is slowly approaching and I’m getting super nervous. The worst part is my PTSD is kicking my ass, flashbacks constantly, nightmares

Afib and climate engineering
Hi, has anyone noticed that afib episodes are often after aerosol spraying in the skies carried out in the name of climate engineering? because here in Greece afib is pandemic and gets worse when our skies are covered with man made clouds. Before that kind of climate manipulation which has been going

Pep talk needed!
I’ve decided that this C25K challenge is like climbing a mountain. When you start your looking at the top of the mountain thinking you can’t do it, then you start and happy days your managing to do it, then as you get close to the summit you can’t breathe and it’s bloody freezing and you think you’ll
