I have ovarian remnant syndrome. To make a long story short(kinda). This last surgery was a laparotomy so he could get all the pieces of ovary left. I must add I have adhesions and scar tissue well of course from previous surgeries as well as endometriosis. He told my husband immediately after surgery I’ll probably need another one in 6 months or so. I go to my post op appt. and he explained to me that there is a piece of ovary he left and that I’ll eventually need another surgery. And “that’s all he can really do for me” I left that appt so angry, hurt and confused.
I have no ovaries (well just the piece) and had a hysterectomy. Yet I have not gone into surgical menopause, and my pain is becoming unbearable. I’m 5 weeks post op and it still leaves me in excruciating pain every time I empty my bladder. Please give me some advice.
