Asking for Your input on Bisoprolol, Nebivolov, Flecainide What has been your experience with these drugs?
Six weeks ago I had my first strong AFIB as diagnosed in the emergency ward. After 3 days of a variety of scans they put me on Apixaban and 2.5 mg of Bisoprolol. I'm a 70 year old male, always active. But now I can hardly get out of bed. I'm breathless, exhausted, and anxious. I have always been on a

Puffy Eyes from Low Thyroid. Help, it's making me sad :(
I wrote a similar question & received some wonderful answers about this topic but wanted to ask a little more in detail & mention some things I hadn't before. One and a half years ago I developed puffy eyes/eyebags. I thought they were related to my low thyroid (hypothyroidism) or aging because I had

Any advice to get through Christmas?
So sorry everyone for such a late and long post. I am just looking on some advice on how to get through the festive season with regards to diet? I had a failed ICSI round back in July. I cannot believe how quickly the time has passed since, however the heartache still feels like yesterday. I had low

Does insomnia get better?
I am kind of surprised that I am not reading about agitation and insomnia as a major side effect of B12 or B vitamins in general. I think that is how I ended up so deficient; I have always had such bad insomnia I just stopped supplementing and cannot tolerate many high B foods.

PA sufferers ive just realised
How many good vitamins Marmite has in it. Fortified with B vitamins, barley wheat oats rye also has thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B12 and folic acid. Surely having some marmite each day ( as hard as it is to eat ) would help with PA and the extra vitamins will help. If you do have knowledge

Over-medicated or Having Low Cortisol on Thyroid-S?
I just started taking Thyroid-S after being hypothyroid for two months from a bad batch of NDT. Maybe I need to give Thyroid-S more time, or maybe I need to treat the adrenals first, but I thought I'd share my experience on it so far when I take 2.5 Grains. I used to take 2.5 Grains of WP, Nature-Throid

Do I need to take a B complex with the B12
I am reading all over that I need to take a whole bunch of B vitamins along with the B 12 in order for it to work. Do I really need B1, B2, B6 and folate to bring up my B12 levels. I have symptoms from all B vitamins so I don’t want to make myself worse. My MMA is very high as is my homocysteine. My

Just wondering if anyone else has rosacea, had it as a baby then about 10/11 years old it came back along with acne, acne has now mostly gone thanks to antibiotics, but the redness is still there, currently using differ and mavaso cream and on trimethoprim tablets, I honestly hate having rosacea I won't

Help please
Hi All, I have ME and Fibromyalgia, all brought on from Glandular Fever (EBV) however, have long since thought there was issue with my thyroid as I have a lot of symptoms which relate. These are my most recent set of results which my GP as said are “normal” Whilst normal I suspect they’re not optimal

Will a lower dose B12 supplement raise my levels..
Hi All, I have low B12 and folate levels. I’ve tried the Jarrows sublingual 1000mcg and after taking one a day for three weeks I’m covered in a rash and whiteheads. All round my mouth and chin, forehead in my hairline and on my shoulders, chest and back. It’s rough sore and itchy. My question is if I

Hi, I've been feeling very unwell recently with bad fatigue, headaches, swollen and sore feet. I've had thrush 3 times in the last month too. I've been on NDT (Erfa) for 8 weeks now (starting on 30mg and increased recently to 45mg) along with 25mg Levothyroxine. Before this, I was on 50mg Levothyroxine

I have had a bit of a week of it!! I started feeling unwell and totally off my food.My urine was also dark. A few days later I developed a fever. The Health Centre sent me up to A&E with a suspected kidney infection. They said up there that it was a urine infection and sent me home with Trimethoprim.
