Hi, just wanting some advise please. I was ill whilst in South Africa last year and was given Vitamin B complex injections as part of my wellness plan. I was given the bottle with the remaining doses to bring back to the UK. I have been getting this injected regularly from a pharmacist thats qualified to administer injection. He can supply Vitamin B 12 but needs to get permission from a GP to supply B Complex and I'm running low in the supply. I notice that you and some of the other members use vitaminb12online.com. They also sell Vitamin B complex. Have you found the product to good and reliable. Thanks in advance.

Your pharmacist risk loses his license if he gets you B12 for injection.
This forum is for people with Pernicious Anaemia, or other vitamin B12 deficiencies. People who inject B12 for 'lifestyle' reasons are one of the causes of our problems. When we ask doctors to increase the frequency of our injections it is assumed that we just want them for an energy boost, for 'wellness' or to make our willies bigger.

Volta - think you may be getting the B complex and vitamin B12 confused.
supplying anything injectable (other than insulin) for medical purposes requires a GPs prescription in the UK.
I certainly wouldn't recommend an injectable B complex unless it was recommended by and supervised by a medical professional.
There are no restrictions in the UK on providing vitamin supplements eg for oral use.
Do you know if you have a B12 absorption problem?
The German pharmacies that some of us Pernicious Anaemia patients have to use to get sufficient B12 injections , do not sell B-Complex ampoules for injection. The site you mention does , but upon investigation , I see that their B complex ampoules do not contain any vitamin B12 at all . They are manufactured in Vietnam . Vitamin B12 is very important -obtained only from animal products . Vegans and strict vegetarians are advised to supplement this vitamin .
B12 is the most difficult vitamin to absorb because it is such a large molecule and requires plenty of stomach acid and the intrinsic factor to do so , which PA patients do not have . All B Vitamins are easy to absorb in a tablet and liquid form , as long as you don’t have P.A. or any other absorption problem , and I suggest you try them . And they contain B12 .( Amazon.uk ) They are easily obtained here and don’t need a prescription , unlike anything else injectable in the UK .
Best of all of course , is a good balanced diet that will supply you with all the vitamins and minerals that you need to keep well. Best wishes .
