Update on the pleural effusion
This
pleural
effusion
is coming because there has been a development in the small nodule growing in my right lung. it's very small and its growth is incremental at least in as far as the last CT scan over a month ago. Meanwhile, they're keeping me on avastin because the doctor says it is helping.

Yesterday I was in London with my daughter who was having a spinal fusion. I had started my day very early as you do to get her checked in-she went to Theatre lunchtime so it was a long morning. Waited 5 hrs for her to return-they had probs controlling her pain š¢ Left her at 8pm to try to miss rush

Question about pleural effusion
Pleural
effusion
question. I have increased
pleural
effusion
on both my lungs. I have a question. Do any of you know if there are any particular things I can do to reduce this side effect of chemotherapy?

Pendle99 : Farewell to Penny
We met up at the Hospital, too, just before I joined the DICE trial, but it pained me that she was suffering from ascites and a nasty
pleural
effusion
during her last treatment, although she was still upbeat and encouraging about my treatment.

Living with Osteo
Hi, I have lived 30-odd years since my diagnosis and think Iāve been lucky in being able to avoid spinal fusion back then. Suddenly have developed crumbling jaw which means my teeth have started falling out!! My dentist has not mentioned anything about a connection but until I see her later this week

Early Retirement from Work.
Morning Everyone. I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia/chronic pain syndrome. It has taken 4 years to get to this point as I also have spinal degeneration in my neck and lower back which was clouding the symptoms of the fibromyalgia. I had a spinal fusion on C4 C5 & C6 C7 last August but

Questions and a follow-up on the pleural effusion
I ended up having a
pleural
effusion
and the thoracentesis took off about 1.1 l of fluid out of one lung. There seems only a small amount in the second one. After enquiries, it appears I gained the 1.1 liters of fluid during a four-month time span.

AVR- Valve too small
I had my AVR 3 years ago and was told that the porcine valve they had to fit is very small due to my small anatomy. As a result i am suffering from pre- syncope which means i am breathless and dizzy on excertion and lightheaded on a daily basis. This is down to ā poor perfusionā. A recent TOE shows

MRI Cardiac rest/stress perfusion
Hi, I have an appointment to have an MRI scan next week on the 18th. On the form it says Cardiac stress perfusion, then Cardiac rest perfusion. I get the general gist of what it is but has anyone had this and what does it entail? Thanks.

Myocardial Perfusion Stress Test NM Mps Tf Stress Gated - has anyone had one. Are you left well enough to drive home afterwards?
Just wanted to know if I will be in a fit state to drive myself the 30miles or so home after the test. I'd really appreciate hearing other peoples experiences.
