Well, you all were right. This pleural effusion is coming because there has been a development in the small nodule growing in my right lung. it's very small and its growth is incremental at least in as far as the last CT scan over a month ago.
Meanwhile, they're keeping me on avastin because the doctor says it is helping. I'm hoping this means that tissue growth will respond and start shrinking. It's been over a month since my thoracentesis and in the past couple weeks I and back to having the same symptoms I had before with the fluid increase. An x-ray showed slight increase in fluid.
I am a little concerned because since my thoracentesis I've had two treatments. I know that the spots in my stomach are not growing so at least some of the cancer is responding. Could this be a new cancer?
