Living with Osteo

Hi, I have lived 30-odd years since my diagnosis and think I’ve been lucky in being able to avoid spinal fusion back then. Suddenly have developed crumbling jaw which means my teeth have started falling out!! My dentist has not mentioned anything about a connection but until I see her later this week I’m not sure how much history she has for me. I am waiting to discuss with my GP but wondered if anyone else has gone or is going through similar? Thank you 🙏🏼

What treatment have you been on?

Just painkillers and some intense time on Tens machines over the years. It was really bad when I was younger hence doc suggested spinal fusion. Was not an option as was recently divorced, 2 small children to raise etc.. back/hips/legs are starting to play up again and now over last couple of months teeth falling out due to jaw disintegration. Thanks

I asked because some of the drugs are implicated in this kind of situation but that doesn't appear to be your case. I'm so sorry to hear you have this problem. However I assumed you meant osteoporosis, do you really mean osteoarthritis?
