Faslodex
My PET scan showed three new areas that have metastasized plus
pleural
effusion
. I've been on Letrizole for 2 1/2 years and it obviously has stopped working. My oncologist is switching me to Faslodex injections. What can I expect for side effects? Is anyone familiar with this treatment?

Suggestions for living as an immunocompromised person... been hospitalized for bacterial meningitis, sepsis, and pleural effusion 9 days.
Looking for tips to stay positive and safe in the midst of existing on immunosuppressants. Just started Aza two months ago and have found myself near death this week with sepsis and bacterial meningitis. How do you find the balance between accepting drugs to prevent further liver inflammation /damage

I can’t not emphasis this enough Anyone starting Buprenorphine / Subutex Or the micro dose version Temgesic. You will not get this advice from your doctors but I urge you to start in this manor. Buy a pill cutter and nightly cut you sublingual tablet into about 8 /10 tiny little crumbs. These medications

LBBB
I went to the primary dr to check up annual. They found out that I have abnormal LBBB. Again, I went to Cardiologist to explain to me. The calcium test showed 0. My heart is good because the wall and perfusion is good. But I don’t understand why I do have LBBB? Please explain.

I had the Pleural Effusion drained yesterday. Is there a good reference to interpret the results and if the fluid is cancerous?
Hello all, I have MBC and am ER/PR+ Her2-. My latest PetScan said it was worrisome for malignant plural Effusion. Just had it drained the other day. The results are confusing. Is there a good reference that can help me interpret the results besides calling my onc? My protein fluid was 4.3 g/dL which

Can someone give me an advice...Am I needing for an lung operation?
Bilateral
pleural
surfaces are normal.
Pleural
effusion
was not observed. There was no active infiltration or a significant mass lesion in the lung areas. Panlobular emphysema that caused parenchymal destruction of all lobes in both lungs was observed.

Failed Right Wrist Ulna Resection Surgery,Fusion w/ Tendon transfer at 32
I'm new here and I would like to share about my severely eroded & fused right wrist. It took almost 8 years before I was diagnosed with R.A and it all started with a right wrist pain that got worse over the years. Finally got great health insurance and a great Orthopaedic surgeon that tried his best
