4-7-8 Breathing for anxiety, sleep and more
I have tried other breath training patterns (box breathing, resonance breathing - I even used an HRV monitor to find the right pacing for me) - they did not do as much for me as a single session of 4-7-8. Dr Andrew Weil came up with 4-7-8 and explains its use here; appropriate dosing is apparently quite

Flecainide and mri perfusion scan
Hello everyone, I am new here, I have a question regarding my PAF. Do I need any investigations before taking flecainide? 24 hours ECG , blood test were done. My usual PR is between 47-55 . I have heard that MRI heart perfusion is required. Has anybody heard (or done) about it?

Stopped Pemetrexed due to pleural effusion.. now, Docetaxol
So doctor performed an x-ray and found severe
pleural
effusion
in right lungs. After 4 days of tapping, we successfully got the entire fluid (3.875 litres) drained and he feels very comfortable now. But now doctor has prescribed him Docetaxol in lieu of Pemetrexed.

Large complex ovarian cyst
If anyone can give me some advice I'd be very grateful! I was recently diagnosed with a complex ovarian cyst measuring 5.5x4x5cm. With an endometrium of 1mm. In the left adnexa there is a multiloculated cyst with thickened septations calcification largest 5mm. Also some small calcifications visible

Hi beautiful ladies. For those on Ibrance/Fulvestrant, have you had weight gain and if so, how are you combatting that? With the combo of Ibrance, Fulvestrant, menopause and an underactive thyroid, I feel like I am at the bottom of a hill looking up and it's going to be a really tough climb! I don't

Hello. New to the forum but not to OA. Thought I’d say hello and add my story.
I posted this in another thread so I apologize if you have read it already. I did not pay attention to the length of time since the last comment so that post is buried toward the bottom. I enjoy research so I hope to add some articles or links to help all of us in our daily and sometimes hourly battle

Vibrating heart
Hi , Last year I had a few days when my heart was vibrating as if I had a small kitten purring inside it. I had an ecg at my gps surgery which showed nothing strange and my cardio didn’t seem bothered(phone call) . Today it’s happening again. I did have a stressful situation to deal with first thing

Lung fluid, Pleural Effusion
I’ve been on my second clinical trial for the last 4 months now. For the most part is working on the lesions on my liver, lymph nodes and some of the lung nodules. It doesn’t work against my PSA which I was told it wouldn’t when I started. Started at 33.4 and now it is at 97.3. I’ve developed fluid between
