life after laparoscopy - expectations

i was just wondering what things are like after a laparoscopy to remove endo ?

i know pain wise it takes a few months while you heal to feel the benefit of that & for the last few months i have been lucky i’ve had bareable pain (but i think this was due to a prostap injection during a round of IVF) rather than the debilitating pain i usually have, but mainly I want to know:

I have long heavy periods - the bleeding can last 12 days - will this be less after surgery? Will they be lighter too?

I also get spotting in between periods (mainly after ovulation) Will this stop ?

Any help/answers would be appreciated
