Is 9 days before period too late to transfer?

I’m starting to have a wobble today after my transfer on Saturday 🤦🏽‍♀️ I had my transfer on Saturday 17th Sept, my period is ‘due’ 26th September so only 9 days after transfer and my OTF is 28th September. I know the progesterone keeps my period at bay but now I’m thinking does my body know that really my period should be coming 9 days after transfer and therefore gone into ‘period mode’ because 9 days may be too close? Am probably really over thinking this but I woke up in the night with the sweats which I get in the run up to my period. Is it normal to transfer 9 days before period ‘due’ date? X

Hi PrincessGurn1984, I really don’t think you need to worry! Firstly I think your clinic definetly know the right time to transfer particularly as yours was a fresh cycle? Secondly I think you transferred two blastocysts that were already 5 days old so the timings seems right! Xxx

Please don’t worry. Your body is being medically controlled so the normal rules of your cycle don’t apply!

Trust your clinic -they know the right time for your transfer. Keep taking meds as directed - eat well -rest when you can. Keep busy - re read your favourite book -watch an old film or watch a whole boxset on tv.
