Can u get ovulation cramps

im on day 21 of cycle for this past couple days I feel as if my period is going to come on but nothing as yet my period is due in 11 days the period cramps or on and off not persistent and a wee niggling head pain just like period is going to come should I ring the nurse this morning and get a check up ? Or just wait maybe period will show up earlier im not sure x

yes I get worse cramps with ovulation than I do period! Happens most months so is completely normal and try not to worry x

Hope discomfort has settled down -and as 1st post says some women do get cramp-like discomfort around the time of ovulation

depends on the severity of the pain I guess. I had excruciatingly painful ovulation cramps and finally received a diagnosis of endometriosis a few years ago. Worth getting checked out if you’re worried x

its actually settled today it was going on for a few days I feel ok now I have pco so I was thinking could be that x

glad it has settled for you, it’s not fun at all. PCOS can give you those symptoms too x

iv woke this morning doubled over with tummy cramps , this is really not normal for me im not due yet , iv since took 2 pain tablets the pain has leveled off I really feel like its period but its not here , if doesnt come in the next few hours im gona have to ring the nurse I hope there is nothing serious going on in there xxxxxx

so sorry to hear this! I’d personally get checked out. If it’s unusual for you then they’ll scan you and do the necessary. I had pain like this one time, on one side, and it turned out to be an ovarian cyst. You’ll never know until you see the docs. Hope you feel better real soon xxx

thank you im gona get cleaned up first as I was being sick, yes i have a ovarin cyst but never had pain with it could bebe be this thank you for reply im calling nurse xxxx

feel alot better now with paracetamol and iv slept all so think my body was tired thank you xxxx
