Need advice
Been feeling tired/exhausted for years. Weight gain, cold all the time. High cholesterol - being treated. Palpitations. A lot of these symptoms I have read can be due to thyroid problems. Had a private blood test done. Results are: TSH 3.71/ Free T4 14.3/ Free T3 4.5. I know these are within range but

Hello everyone, This is my 4th thyroid test (all testing advice adhered to, tests between 9.00-9.40am) over the last 6 months since joining HU and asking for advice. It looks to me like T4 has started to raise. I've listed below all 4 tests for comparison. It's now 47% through the range which seems

Hi, been Hashimotos/hypothyroid about 10 years. Was always on 225mg. Since perimenopause they've dropped me to 150 which I was reluctant but had to do. Stayed like this for 3 years but new Dr, new results - she wants to drop me again. Trying to balance HRT to help all pain and symptoms. Scared of how

early concerns/ paranoia
Feeling a bit guilty taking up space here before I have any real diagnosis. Iām 72 years old and my annual physical in November saw my PSA numbers double from 3.2 to 6.4 and then retested a month later they were 7. Sounds scary to me. My urologist ordered an in-home EXODX urine test 14 days ago which

optimum time for T3 dose
I've received good advice from people on here, regarding vitamin/minerals and optimum levels of, etc, and I recently started-3 weeks- adding 5mcg T3 to my thyroxine (100mcg reduced from 125mcg at suggestions on here). I have a 3-month trial. I take them together at the moment, at around 5-6 am. Is this

Roseway labs
Do Roseway Labs request GP details and ask to write to them? Also, if I request T3, will they need proof that I am taking T4? If so, what proof do they require and how do I submit it? My last blood test was 7 weeks ago, is this too far away if this is what is required? I would be grateful for information

10yo daughters resultsā¦HELP!
Hello, I have posted before regarding my daughter who is 10yo but we have just had some very unusual and worrying results which may explain her health issues. She has a long term history of low platelets and Iāve been trying to solve this for her as it has been unexplained. We have strong family history

Dear BLT people, I hope you are all doing reasonably well. After my story 1.5 year ago about my misdiagnosed liver cirrhosis its kind of weird to say that I found out that my dad was diagnosed with liver cancer today. (he was never a drinker or fat or what so ever, he is quite old though, he is

Perplexing results. I wondered if anyone had any thoughts?
I was wondering if any one had any thoughts on my results Iām 14 years post RAI and have been on levothyroxine for 8 years and I seem to be very sensitive to dose change. I donāt have thyroid antibodies just a toxic adenoma. They run my T4 higher around 19- 22 for conversion for T3, my consultant
