Do Roseway Labs request GP details and ask to write to them? Also, if I request T3, will they need proof that I am taking T4? If so, what proof do they require and how do I submit it?
My last blood test was 7 weeks ago, is this too far away if this is what is required?
I would be grateful for information if possible on this.
Thank you

I've never used Roseway for Thyroid so have no idea how recent blood tests need to be, I'm guessing a copy of your repeat medications showing the Levo would suffice, either from your GP surgery online access via screenshot or a photo of the paper list you often get from the pharmacy when collecting your meds.
Its probably best to ask Roseway direct what they require as we would just be second guessing. And its entirely your choice as to whether they contact your GP or not. I get LDN from them and didnt want my GP informed. So made sure I didnt tick that bit.
I have had one appointment with Roseway a while back and they asked for my GP summary notes print out. They have an online form that you can upload anything required.
You're probably better off emailing them direct to ask them any questions that you have as they may change things from time to time.
Roseway are so helpful over email with any questions. I intend to go to them direct now for my ERFA prescriptions. My understanding is that they need to know you’re currently on the meds you’re requesting. So whether they can prescribe T3 if you’ve not had it previously, I’m not so sure. But email and ask?
You’ll need to book an initial consult with the prescribing pharmacist and they’ll need fairly recent bloods. I believe it’s £55 for the first appointment and then £30 thereafter. There’s no additional prescription fee either which saves some ££. 💜
I use them a lot, they haven’t asked me for any GP notes. They have a detailed pre consultation form to fill in before your call.
It’s totally different to a GP appointment, they ask what you want and discuss how to achieve it and monitor you carefully.
Yes I would get fresh blood test including T3 and T4 and send them the results ready for the call.
They prescribed T3 to me on the basis of T4 mono therapy not fixing my symptoms. First time as a 12 week trial and then continuing/increasing/decreasing as needed.
They also wrote to my GP to explain I had a private prescription that would impact TSH which has been helpful.
However, they will want to work on how you FEEL more than bloods. So refreshing
