Another Letdown
I deal with anxiety off and on. I don’t have a bad life at all so I get angry with myself for feeling this. I am starting to notice I fight it more after a change like after holidays, after I retired etc. I monitor my thoughts constantly to see if I am anxious etc. trouble sleeping. I have a therapist

Panic disorder
I'm new to these kinds of things. It's been 3 years, after being told I need to find a support group to interact with others who may suffer from severe anxiety and panic disorder. I refused for the longest time, but it's gotten worse for me. The medications aren't helping, and seeing my therapist seems

Obsessive thoughts about little things
I have been dealing with anxiety for quite some time by nowBut recently I have started getting compulsive thoughts about irrelevant things,I watched a short video which now I can't remember what was about and I can't search for it and that is making me annoyed and disturbed, even if I do find it I fear

A New Year and Best Wishes to Everyone
This message is a positive one, so please read through to the end. I was active on the anxiety and depression boards a few years ago. I never had a history of any type of mental health issues prior to Covid, and being out-of-work during the same time period, plus dealing with a family member with

It took 50 years
Well no holidays for 50 years due to anxiety, depression,
phobias
etc. Now this is my third in a few years. Still not easy but each time I do it, it gets easier. Sat in Hyde park London this would have been impossible a few years ago.

Sertraline Initial Side Effects
My boyfriend was on Zoloft 50mg when we met. Life was going good so he quit this past October. He decided a week and half ago to go back on it. He upped his dose in my opinion too quickly. He did 2 days of of 25 mg and then last Tuesday he jumped into 50mg. He slowly distanced himself from me and now

Cetrotide injections - tips needed for drawing up the solution!
Hi all, I've had a bit of a wobble today (more like full on meltdown if I am being completely honest). It's my second day taking cetrotide and I am really struggling with drawing the meds up into the syringe after mixing. I've tried it so many different ways... slowly pushing out the air bubbles, holding

OTD Negative - Crushed again!
Morning ladies.Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday. I held off testing yesterday and I'm so glad I did. I had a feeling this cycle didn't work but not testing meant there was still a little bit of hope there and I didn't want to ruin Xmas day. Tested this morning and negative- i can't stop crying

Dangers of being happy.
After a truely crap start to the year things manged to get worse. Then slowly we battle on and finally seem to pull through. I'm on the up but have the lingering fear of being happy. I know it's part of my depression , waiting for things to go wrong is the big fear of being happy. The thing I've learnt

Anxiety
I was taking Prozac then Paxil for years. I started taking 60 mg. Cymbalta daily and 50 mg. Seroquel at bedtime. I have been on this for 2 and 1/2 weeks. I take .5 Klonopin at bedtime for sleep. How long does this take to have full effect? I do not have anxiety attacks, but feel it below the surface

Agoraphobia? Don't be a prisoner in your own home!
Agoraphobia is a common symptom of anxiety disorder. It helps to understand why it happens. For some time you must have been experiencing high anxiety for some reason. Your mind senses this anxiety and thinks you are in physical danger. Your mind wants to distance you from physical danger so sends you

I think i have a phobia of my mom
I'm terrified of her being depressed or not okay or mad. I had to call her for something and i got so anxious. It was just for a few second, she said "im in hurry, i have a queue of clients" and im worried about her getting depressed or dodging me. I have this obssesive fear of her hurting. She gets

Self-Injecting - rookie question
Hi Guys Managing my needle phobia and self injecting. 🥹 Odd emotions as I look forward to SI time to get it over with feel better whilst dreading it at the same time! 🤪 Done 4 x SI into tummy and needle inserted more easily and less painfully than expected. 😁 Tonight the needle would not go

I just couldn’t do it today 😏
I could barely run today 🥵 I managed a slow 2.5k before I stopped and had to sit down with my head between my knees. Good job I chose the treadmill and not an outside run (yay for the frosty pavements!) I put it down to being tired and stressed, and eating my body weight in turkey and roasties at
