Working normal after stent or by pass?
Hi, I would like to know if there is someone here who had stents put in or by pass and is working out as if nothing had happened, I mean, training really hard, getting weights.

Exercise after stent
How should you wait after having 2 stent put in. After 3 weeks I still can’t take a brisk walk, as when I do I feel pressing pain in my heart.

I’ve been using Monopost for 8 weeks and pressure has come down from16 on both eyes to 13 on L and 11 on R eye. Consultant is pleased

Hi all, I had my ha back in November 20 and had one stent fitted. On the whole I’m doing good, I’m back at work and continue to get 10k walk in nearly every day, it’s been an emotional rollercoaster but I am getting there. I’ve had niggling chesty type pains since my HA, never on exertion and really

Dreams
I had my HA about 3 years ago and had a stent fitted. Since then I have been fine, but something that puzzles me is that whilst I sleep well I do seem to dream so much more nowadays! Whether its age catching up with me (83)? Although I am fit and walk 2-3 miles every day, or whether I have always done

Anyone experienced internal bleeding after taking Ticagrelor and aspirin at the same time?
I was taking these 2 drugs after a heart attack and a stent fitted in 2016 (Ticagrelor only for 1 year) without a problem. After a 2nd stent was fitted in late 2020, I experienced internal bleeding even though I was prescribed lansoprazole to protect my stomach. I stopped taking the aspirin and the

Spotty face
Hi I had a small heart attack in November 2020 and feel great after having a stent fitted. I’m on the usual meds and wondered if anyone has suffered with a really spotty face? I’m 61 and never suffered this badly in my teens! Could it be the meds? They also don’t heal quickly either due to the Aspirin

Apixaban+Aspirin - v- Clopidogrel
Condition: Atrial Fibrillation + unstable Angina; has bare metal stents; aged 94. Long-term NOAC Apixaban+Aspirin was recommended by hospital Consultant after serious angina attack. Before A+A, prescription was for Clopidogrel+Aspirin. GP stopped A+A and now prescibes only Clopidogrel. How would this

Hiya, I'm starting recovery week 7 after an elective triple bypass. Advised to sleep on back until sternum sorts itself out. Does anyone know when and how I can begin to rest on my side. Thanks

Fit healthy 50 year old woman starts running!!
I don’t enjoy running but recently started it again and now up to 4K each time. Just trying to improve my speed at the moment before I increase distance . It is the only thing that gives me comfort knowing that I don’t have any new blockages and that I am fine. I’m a 50 woman who was fit and healthy

Can there be a delay in postcholecystectomy problems?
I had my surgery in October 2017 when I had a gangrenous gallbladder. It was open chest surgery and I had a stent put in my bile duct. I have been experiencing some pain by my scar site in the upper right abdomen and the abdomen feels swollen. I wonder if it can be connected

Heart failure
I had a heart attack three weeks ago and had a stent fitted. I have been referred to the heart failure team which I find terrifying terrifying. Does this mean what it says that my heart is failing?

Clopidogrel
I have had a 10mm stent put in to cover 2 x 90% blockage in same artery. I have been prescribed clopidogrel. I am feeling so tired and pains everywhere since starting them 5 weeks ago. Is this normal? Did not have any symptoms before stent and blockages only discovered during health check.
