Can there be a delay in postcholecystectomy problems?

I had my surgery in October 2017 when I had a gangrenous gallbladder. It was open chest surgery and I had a stent put in my bile duct. I have been experiencing some pain by my scar site in the upper right abdomen and the abdomen feels swollen. I wonder if it can be connected

Hi Liz,

Can you discuss with your GP? they may be able to send you for an ultrasound scan to get some up to date imaging of your liver/ biliary system?
