Hi All, always so good to hear about others experiences as well as the wonderful support of this forum. I was on Ropinerole for 3 years and max dose was 2 mgs for the final 6-months. This forum helped me to go in another direction. My last .25 mg dose was July 23rd. I also started 600 mg Horizant on July 1. I also have Percocet for the transition. I am experiencing less and less late afternoon and early evening RLS which is good. However, it seems to hit me hard from 1030 PM-130 AM. I finally get to sleep about 2 AM and sleep until 8 AM or so. I take my Horizant at 5 PM with a meal (preferably with some fat to expedite release). Here's my question, I also have gastroparesis (slowing the emptying of the stomach after eating). Has anyone tried taking their Horizant earlier in the day to avoid the late evening breakthroughs? My normal sleep hours prior to this were 9 PM to 430 AM. So I prefer to be symptom free between 9-12. I have been taking one Percocet about 9 PM also but does not seem to work as well as it did in my tapering off of Ropinerole. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
