I wasn’t given
PEP
because I missed the deadline. The source from the exposure tested negative.

Hi everyone!
Some just need a
pep
talk. Others are in dire need of some good ol' fashioned TLC and reassurance. I've tried to help where I can, be a shoulder to lean on or just a friendly ear people can bend.

At last, a decent length run: 7.75km; 425 calories; 8.33min/km; 1:06:19 time -
. Oldfloss gave me a very supportive
pep
talk, on the March challenge thread, which inspired me and made me feel less worried. So this morning I woke at 5.30 and decided today was the day to try to push on a bit further.

Depression....?
I feel like a pathetic shell of my former self, and each day it becomes harder to find my smile; each day I have less
pep
in my step. I dunno what I'm looking for out of this. If anyone understands. I'm sure I'm not alone in this type of situation, but..

A roller coaster to victory
My other half noticed the old habits resurfacing a bit and gave me a
pep
talk. He's so supportive. Keep fighting the good fight. My 5 min drive home no longer takes an hour. I'm still winning!!

Every Step A Win ❤️
A quick hug and I’m off with a bit of extra
pep
in my step. 🙂 Yes, I’m doing this! “Every run is a win”, is something I usually say! Well today...every step was a win! Breaking through the walls and finding me, just me......again! Thank you running!! I’m so glad I found you!! 🥰🥰!

W6R1 - something weird just happened
Whilst on the warm up walk I started the usual internal
pep
talk to motivate myself, when I realised it wasn’t the usual pre-run nerves I was experiencing, but kind of butterflies of excitement! I was looking forward to my run! Really caught me by surprise, a complete first.

Your Tuesday pep talk!
Feeling scared and frightened? Depression got you gasping for air? Then take a tip from your friend and mine, the US Destroyer Spence... "Fear is just a illusion. I'm scared, but I'm gonna fight! I know I can beat it!" Spence fights her fears to win battles. Will you fight too? Give depression

Tuesday Pep Talk, Final Part
Sometimes, depression and anxiety can seem like an unbeatable monster. So, here's Japanese Cruiser Ashigara, with some friendly advice.... "Fight depression like a samurai. No retreat, no surrender and you will achieve victory this day!" Depression and anxiety are only as strong as you make them.

Tuesday Pep Talk, Part 2
This is no time to let depression win! Here's a tip from the US Cruiser Cleveland.... "Knights got their courage from slaying dragons. Slaying one's inner demons makes one truly fearless!" Be a Knight of the Sea like Cleveland. Stand up courageously to depression, and you will be truly fearless!

Thank you
During today I kept on reading your inspirational posts, had a horrible headache all day but when I got home from work I gave myself a
pep
talk and made myself complete the run. So glad I did, really enjoyed it and feel so much better about myself.

Acapella Choice Vibratory PEP Device
I would like some advice on whether this is still available on the NHS as I have seen a post saying it was 3-4 years ago? By the way I love this forum such great advice from people with experience of bronchiectasis.

Need a pep up!
I ran this morning .... and it’s the first time I seriously thought about stopping in the middle... my legs were tired and although I made myself finish I only ran 3k... I graduated last week and it’s the second run since then... are there any tips out there... it’s true I have been eating a lot of rubbish

I had a risky sexual encounter. Please help?
Should I get a
PEP
just to be safe? I've been told that PEPs should only be taken in extreme emergencies. Are there any other precautions I can take now to ensure my safety? Any vaccinations?

Age.... what’s age?
That soon changed, I gave myself a bit of a
pep
talk and reminded myself that a few years ago in my late 30s I had a mastectomy (grade 3 malignant tumour) and I am still here having watched my boys grow into men and my grandchildren thriving so if I have got through all that I can trip the light fantastic
