It's been the week from "you know where".... its like

Me - 0

OCD - 756

I've had a bit if a spiral happen. Yesterday I crash and burned. During my work day my brain was so tired I just up and left. I purchased a stationary bike to try and distract my thoughts of the news and mentally replaying my drive earlier that week that started it all.

My other half noticed the old habits resurfacing a bit and gave me a pep talk. He's so supportive. Keep fighting the good fight. My 5 min drive home no longer takes an hour. I'm still winning!!

The week from hell.

I am sorry to hear that.

Spirals will happen to all of us! We all have bad days!

I hope that the bike has helped you over the last couple days

Good job to your other side! I am sure that that was a much needed pep talk! He is super supportive.

I am thrilled to hear that you have made progress on your ride home! Great job!

You are certainly still winning!

I feel you 100%. It seems like my OCD can never let me go too many days without a really nasty thought. The past few days were fine and then today I started having some old intrusive thoughts that really disturb me and all I want to do is check check check. You’re so lucky to have someone to support you in this and give you a pep talk! I am hoping to get out of this funk tonight and start my week off right. I’m glad to hear you’re winning! There’s no better feeling than when it’s our turn to punch anxiety in it’s gut!

My advise is to see a doctor and get some medication. Lots out there that can help. I take Zoloft and it helps! I am a counter. I have to touch things three or four times time my anxiety goes away. With medication the need just fades. It can me a blessing. Find a med that works for you.
