Bones be damned😀.I am very active which helps with bone loss and scoot around full of
pep
most days .So if you are very senior and on Pred and feel well just go with it . My goal is to get as low as possible and stay there ad infinitum

polymorphic eruption of pregnancy
Reading online made me realize it might be associated to
PEP
(or PUPPP).. even though I am not second/third trimester, and I did not gained weight rapidly. What can explain this? Haven’t take Beta test yet. 1 embryo transfer on Dec 19th.

Update- transfer confirmed, thinnish lining though
I saw a different Dr today and was alarmed when she said my lining was "6.4mm" she then spent about 2 minutes silently scanning me whilst I came to accept that my lining was too thin and silently gave myself a hard

Need to vent to people who will get it.
Can someone give me a little
pep
talk and get me back into vacation mood?! The expectation to be having a good time coupled with the reality that my body is declining is knocking me down right now xx

Losing the fight
I'm not really looking for advice (fundamentally the answer is just that - it is bloody hard), but a bit of support and any words of
pep
you might have to spare please. As much as anything, I need to be able to get this off my chest. I'm nine months into PCS.

JULY QUEST 2024: Week 3, how great can you be?
So,
pep
talk over, how is your Quest going now we’re into the third quarter of the month? Mine has taken a back burner. Four days in the car across Europe meant a whole lot of sitting still and no running so there goes my consistency.

What comes after, what comes next?
Zytiga has given my dad an extra
pep
in his step (I think because of the prednisone.) However, I can see the cancer starting to come back. The urinary incontinence issues are slowly creeping back, he has had some back pain, and shoulder pain where there are significant mets.

Update: post-radiation and New meds
Such an army of support, advice,
pep
talk, and comfort is part of the improved survival rate for this disease..because it's so lonely to find yourself the only one with cancer in your social group...Those who have not been touched by this, really have NO IDEA.

Don’t want to be alive, can’t be dead.
The other therapist that I saw (and used all of my benefits coverage on) just wanted to give me
pep
talks about “thinking positively” and finding my “energy” and told me that I just needed to put myself out there and that everyone is nervous about meeting new people… And I have nowhere else to turn.

just found this poem I wrote
Sorry if it is all invisible to you But it is very real to me So if I look at you blankly or even coolly Or just turn away from your
pep
talk. When you encourage me to Just get out, Don’t give up or in or whatever. Write, draw, just do something!

Week 6 the down and the ups!!
Water, banana and
pep
talk to myself and I left the house determined to have a brilliant run. And I did! I slowed down from the start and kept checking with myself every couple of minutes if I could carry on a conversation (thanks to the brilliant advice I got on here).

Salvage radiation fears
I assume it was for a
pep
talk, but it did the opposite. He essentially said “this is a good first step - let’s get this out and then prepare for radiation”. Surgery went fine and physically he’s recovering well (although only 4 days out).

Getting old(er) and have been diagnosed since childhood. But...
More for someone to give me a kick or a
pep
talk. I need to know it is not just me, who thinks like this ha. Again, I have coaching but again I need a kick up the butt!
